Between 26:51 to 27:43 was just amazing, I want a longer version of it, I felt like a hero who was just betrayed and was slowly loosing my mind to pure evil, becoming a villain
corny
@@toby7886 Literally the concept of music is feeling, imagination and interpretation. so please stfu and let people be creative. We don't want a boring person like you ruin the fun
Just look up bloodborne’s boss music, a lot of it sounds like that
@@Felahliir thanks :)
@@toby7886 right 😭
So chaotically intricate. Even the jumbled noises are perfectly articulated and rehearsed to perfection. Really impressive can’t imagine how much they practice.
I honestly don't think it is normal to play so f*** good in a live performance.
26:49 awoke something evil inside of me, I love music so much
3:52 6:07 12:22 18:25 19:42 22:34 27:13 29:41 32:15 32:45 33:35 34:09
Yes!
Atmospheric, contemplative, and intense, this is music to get lost in rather than to lose yourself in. It's a disquieting work, but also a glowingly beautiful one. Violinist Kochanovsky gives a brilliant and beautiful performance that seems to do full justice to this excellent Vasks Concerto.
Best 36 minutes ever omg, my favorite part was definitely 26:45 to 27:45 , it really captured my attention! I literally love every little thing about this performance! It’s incredibly moving
Die beste Aufnahme ! Toller Geiger ! Bravo
Deep, intense, wide musicality, this recording made in pandemic expresses the hard time we all were passing on.
Didn't expect this to be so heartbreaking. Thank you.
now go listen to the Andante Cantabile from cello concerto number 2... have tissues at the ready
Vasks is much under rated. His cello concerto is also wonderful and imaginative. Excellent to add to my library.
It is contemporary. Sibelius after 50 years was still considered new when gitlis played in ny. We're luckier today to hear this so easily on the net. Can tell this will likely becoming a star 🌟 among the greats soon enough though,it has pathos of our time. Would like to know it's background and meaning of title?
I just discovered this guy, Marc Bouchkov. Great performance. Really beautiful. Hope to listen to more of his music. Lovely phrasing, dynamics and the timbre of his violin. What he does at 12:22... my God... 💗💗💗 Amongst many other things. Bravo!
22:31 not enough people are talking Abt this part it's so beautiful
30:38 is the most beautiful part I’ve heard
This is amazing I literally cried, not kidding 😭
Posted a part of this on TikTok about a year ago and it got 300k plus likes, I hope it got more of the recognition it deserved
That’s why I listen to this song!!! I saved that video to my favorites and would come back to it from time to time until I decided to listen to it in full. One of my all time favs now.
Thank you
@@scoutgoldsmith7845 ofc❤️I have many recommendations
The first time I've heard this concerto live it was being performed by Gidon Kremer and it was superb! This performance by Marc Bouchkov is at least as good, if not better!
This is absolutely gorgeous, every single part feels so full of emotion. Very impressive.
Bouchkov plays absolutely incredible! Also his performance of the Ysaye violin concerto and the Bach Chaccone was stunning. He is pretty young… Extraordinary years of violin music may begin!
27:08 I like how you can hear the original rhythm trying to get back in control
How can people dislike this art
One of the most achingly beautiful pieces I,ve heard
This was a great performance, his interpretation really brought to life some of the despair and anguish that I think is easily overlooked or omitted in other recordings I've listened to before. Also, the highly collegial fistbump among professionals really adds to the magic of this video for kind of bringing the emotions back to an okay place after such a heart-rending piece, kudos to the camera crew and editors for catching that priceless moment. Possibly the best fistbump in orchestral contemporary classical music history ever to be witnessed on camera haha
I can’t stop listening to this it paints such vivid images in my head I can’t imagine all the movements people and setting is each part it’s surprising vivid
Wow, I was trying to work while listening to this but it was impossible to concentrate on anything other than this music.
Is that good or bad?
Same here. It's overwhelming.
This is so fantastic! Chills every time at 19:30, that climax is mental.
Heartbreaking and breathetaking ♥️♥️♥️ the highest level of composing and performing 🤯
Highly intense masterpiece creating great waves of NOSTALGIA!!!!!!!!So emotive ,calm with velvety texture penetrating Deep within. Unforgettable one. Thanks for uploading.A lot of salutations to all the performers Involved with true dedication.
This is the Vask concerto that caused me to become a V-groupie! Peteris Vasks has an unbelievable ability to produce such achingly beautiful music...
What a wonderful experience for that audience, and for the performers.
So beautiful. Takes my breath away.
Hits me again and again.
Now that this work is so firmly established in the repertoire it is wonderful to hear it 'straight' and not with Kremer's stamp on it through new eyes and musicianly discipline. Credit to Kremer that he was breaking new ground but this concerto needs more air and silence than was available then.
Great concertos sort of grow into their own space and this is one of the greatest.
That was amazing! The piece, the performance! Ahhh!!
mind blowingly good!i never expected this
This is so metal.
Quasi sempre impressionante. A tratti... sognante!
Surreal!
Lindo concerto! Bela sinfonia e interpretação desse músico extraordinário! Parabéns!👏👏👏👏😃
Impresionante. Nunca había escuchado a Vasks.
bin voll einverstanden

Awesome ! Bravo Marc !
0:50 is a good place to start........This work won the Latvian Grand Music Award in 1997.
Réécoute : Hypnotique !
Atemberaubend!
Großartig!!!

Wonderful... 👏👏👏
Amazing
This was a religious experience for me
Genial.
Omg😮 amazing🤯
Bravo!!!!
Great concerto, great performance. I thought I wouldn't like it, because I usually like only the first performance that I hear and in case of that concerto it was obviously Kremer, but this one is also great. I can't remember how I got to know about it, probably when I was looking for the info about Soviet avant-garde composers like Silverstrov, Pärt and Gubaidulina.
23:40 best part!
I wanna listen to it on Spotify please

(26:50) “clearly. You don’t own an airfare.” (Awakens the great darkness)
This is how Contemporary Music should be.
🔥🔥🔥
Gidon kremer recording ( original one ) is also very sublime!
What's the superlative of Amazing? Since that's what I think you as musicians just did!
