How to use the board for a for 3 strand necklace. Do I stop at the inner channels? Do I extend past the inner channel to keep all three strands in proper alignment?
The bead mat is a guide to the length so you can place your beads in order. It's not a necklace template as such. For that, you will need to put the string of beads onto yourself and gauge where you want them to hang, then adjust the other strands accordingly. Also it depends on the length you want, how far apart you want the strands to be when worn, how you intend to attach the three strands to a clasp, and what kind of clasp and/or connectors you want to use. Don't finish it off until you have the drape exactly as you want it. Hope this helps.
Hi Carmen, each number represents a centimetre. You can use the channels for two strand necklaces if you wish, or you can decide on the length of the individual strands yourself.
Thank you - you actually explained what the numbers mean :-D
What are the numbers on the inner most channel. They seem much closer together is it centimeters or something?
Yes it's in centimeters.

Just use the necklace portion, and measure 9 inches that way.

Numbers 1 to 21 what are they for? Are they for the two strand necklaces?
