How to remove the background white when you're going to print halftone design in Black T-shirt? I just want to print only the subject and remove the background. I followed your steps and wondered how can I do that if I only want the subject without the background.
Maestro where have you been bro?!! You're my teacher and you don't even know it. Happy that you made another video. I hope everything is well. Thanks for dropping some more knowledge on my head. I just bought my first four color press and I still have it in the box. I'm really excited because I was using an ironing board to do one color prints. I just want to say thank you because I learned so much from you
This is slightly different than the way I was taught to do it (I invert & adjust the levels before bitmapping), but I like this technique better. Can’t wait to try it out👍🏾.
Just a 230. Awesome. I will have my artist watch this video and we will see what we come up with. Thanks for the quick reply and I love your videos!! #slingerprintworks
Hey man thanks for the video, quick question, at the start i import the vector AI file then follow this process - how do i save this as a vector file again? i only have the option to save as a PSD but will this mean it is no longer a lose quality or am i ok?
Hello, I would like to try this (1 color) on a grey shirt black ink. Do I invert the halftone image like you would do to print on black shirts or not invert. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
Instead of selecting and deleting the black you would select and delete the white. That will leave you with the black image and you don't need to worry about colour overlay.
Thank you for supporting the channel 🙂 I use 230 mesh count for most of the halftone prints. The video I did using 110 mesh count was to show that it could be done. The only difference is that the dots are going to be a bit bigger.
Doesn't matter what time I expose for , my halftones washout . In the same screen it's under and over exposed . I use a hose and they wash out and I try a pressure washer they also wash out ..... ugh so frustrated lol
I'm curious I want to make sure I have the right mesh count. I just got a half tone design and want to make sure I got the right mesh count. Can you please tell me the mesh count.

Hi, could you please explain why did you chose a dark overlay? I thought you would pick a white overlay to make the artwork look clearer on a black garment. I did the same as you and found that black overlay completely changes the artwork color to black which is not what someone would want when printing on a black t-shirt!
Yes, he needs the white part to be inked, so he made it black so he can print it on the film to exposure it and then fill it with white ink ! The design on the film needs to be always black so it can be washed away later.
Why do people still insist on doing this by hand? Folks go to school for years to learn these programs like Adobe which again why I don't understand why folks don't simply buy an add on like Filmmaker 10 or NXT Sep where all these variable are preprogrammed. Sure these cost money. Example my software with CoralDraw and my add-ons rip this image in under 2 minutes with it being ready to send to printer and this is vector or raster file.

With the resolution 10x12 in, can I print on an XL t-shirt U know?
Thanks for the video. I followed step by step yesterday and it came out great. Today, when i clicked cut, the entire image disappeared

How longvto burn the screen... make avideo on exposure, halftones and regular...
When your editing the image size, are you basing it on size of your screen or transparency paper?
Nice job, hermano!
Can you Adjust the size of the graphic after doing the halftone?

did you change your exposure time or did you use the same time you always use??
can i do halftones with lower mesh like 100 or 150
Not recommended. If you want to use 150 mesh keep your dots at 35-40 dpi. You can always go to smaller numbers and get different effects.
Nice as always
How do I get rid of the background when doing half tones good video
11 point... SIXTY-NINE!!!
Great explanation. I don't use rip software either, as I"m just learning. Thanks!
what emulsion did you use for this?
Thank you bro.
Dope 💯.
What do you mean you only use 230 I saw another video where you used 110 for half tone
Thank you for supporting the channel 🙂 I use 230 mesh count for most of the halftone prints. The video I did using 110 mesh count was to show that it could be done. The only difference is that the dots are going to be a bit bigger.

Where do I buy the film
How long was your exposure
Do you use this for CMYK underbase
What if you wanted to make a memorial shirt with texts would the txt go on another layer
You can't add both to one film or print another film with just the text name in which case you'll need to add registration marks.
Thanks
@@darryllparker9298 sorry for typo I meant you can not can't lol
Damn I love halftone.....I may cry, not gonna lie.....•
thank you. may The Almighty Creator bless you
Hi Mr. How to make underbase please? Black n White underbase?
Did you use plastisol or waterbased ink on that halftone?
Plastisol
What's the ratio of emulsion on ink side and tshirt side. Is it good if the emulsion is thicker or thinner?
I'm curious I want to make sure I have the right mesh count. I just got a half tone design and want to make sure I got the right mesh count. Can you please tell me the mesh count.

Ink colour name.
What do you charge for a shirt like that?
It depends on the quantity of shirts the client is requesting. Our minimum is 24 shirts. So one color print on front of a black shirt $12 per shirt.
@@tainoink do larger sizes matter too?
