I got this randomly recommended, and I just want to wish you luck! I've been working on my own first game project since about June of last year (2023) and seeing people start off on this journey is really inspiring. It reminds me of myself during the first few weeks/months of starting my project, and brings back nostalgia (even though it hasn't been that long lol). I look forward to seeing what you end up creating! Hopefully I can play your game one day :)

It's a somewhat entertaining until you realized you can't make money from it. I quit making games after I realized it's a long road and not worth my time, unless you're doing it just for fun.
@@geybowser Yeah, I understand it’s extremely difficult to make money from making games since there’s so many games out there TwT But I’m hoping whatever job you’re doing now still satisfies you.
@@EifieDM I concur. Game development is extremely difficult, because it's including design, programming, and marketing to be able to live with it. That's why I've never pirated a single game in my life because I was in the same boat as the devs. The reason why I hate people that doing piracy to the core.

I actually have another game idea before this but it was a bit too ambitious so now I'm working on this new one lol. So maybe I'll drop a hint or two about future games. Also definitely want to add other easter games to other games... maybe a secret achievement if players manage to find them all? Idk if I can do tho since I don't wanna pay Steam $100 to upload my game there, maybe in the future XD

Ok, no matter how you look at it, that perspective mechanic is super neat. Here's wishing you luck and hoping to see your game coming up to a realization. I'm kinda working on a similar project so I know how it feels, but you've clearly have acomplished a lot so far. Keep it up and good luck.
@@SadTown99 I finished the visual novel sprites for my characters and now halfway done with the prologue areas butttt one problem is I'm not sure how to implement 'death' animations such as if the player falls through a hole, interacting with the environment. I will test it out soon and hopefully, it won't take too long to figure out!
I hope you can figure out the blueing art issue ^^ It might help to make the sprites a very high resolution so that when they get bigger there’s no issue, but I’m not sure if that would help fix the problem or not This looks so cool and I can’t wait to see where it goes

Well, mainly cause of nostalgia. I want to make the game with the engine which my favourite games were made in. I would be totally going to try other engines in the future tho, not even one map done I can already feel the limits of RPG maker not even one map done…
@@kazegeemu6635 There's a lot of simple things like changing the camera position and the number of actors on the screen you'll need a plugin to help with that. If you can't find a plugin, it will be challenging to code it yourself compared if you code in other game engines.
@@EifieDM So here is the plan since it's almost the Halloween season im going to be working on Halloween smash bros fighters Halloween heroes Monster friends Kids vs zombies And trick or treat fighters All in one package I think four is mangerable for a mini collection of fighting games I will let you know when I upload the progress on the collection

@@EifieDMIkr ? Steam isn't indie friendly, even they charged you 30% of your sales too.
