    I own all the even sized 2002s from 10” to 22”. They sound so nice when recorded. They are also consistent. If you replace one it will sound the same. I started with Zildjians. They’re not as bright and you have to listen to them because the Sam size will sound different.

    I am a 2002 medium guy because of Bonzo. I have all sizes in black label. I do also love Zildjian K though. Apples and oranges.

    Thanks for doing the comparison. I use 2002's myself but usually replace the ride with a late 50's Avedis for recording only. You have got that bass drum sounding awesome on camera, both punchy and big and fat!

    I do think 2002s would be better for live music.
