Teddy was awesome in the ring and was ahead of his time in many ways and I LOVED his Tag Team with Jack Evans, but he had this sense of entitlement due to his family name that I never understood. His attitude and ego were too much for any organization
Which is hilarious because he said in an interview that he HATES people who sleep their way in or use their connections mean while he uses his name to get gigs before he stops showing up after like a week
I think the entire family has underlying issues due to many bad life incidents. He lost his little brother when they were young. Then their grandfather. Owen,Davey Boy,Pillman,other Uncles later in life messed him up and exacerbated his mental health problems he already had and mix weed,drugs,and alcohol and it's a recipe for disaster.

I’ve seen enough of Harts matches and his interviews to be able to say he has absolutely no understanding of wrestling. His attitude seems to be ‘I do lots of cool moves so I should be the top star in the world.’
And it's an attitude like that that won't get him looked at in certain places, no matter what talent you have

Without knowing anything about him, I thought to myself, this guy definitely has legal issues involving drugs and alcohol. Sure enough, I Googled him and that stuff came up. Teddy wasn't 100% wrong. What he was trying to say is that had they not both been stupid about it, they could've gotten in the position that HHH is in now (only through merits instead of marrying Stephanie). Perhaps that's a bit of a stretch, but it's not impossible to believe they'd be high up in the company now based on the fact they obviously knew what they were doing and Vince might've rewarded them for that if they kept showing up to work in the WWE.
Obviously HBK had his personal issues and Bret left for WCW, but he has a point. Even though he's fucking crazy

The thing no one talks about from the ROH incident is that right before Teddy started doing flips off the cage he was knocked unconscious outside of the ring taking a bump into the railing. he was severely concussed (hence the vomiting in the ring), and didnt know what was really going on, he couldnt remember if he'd had a match or what the finish was suppose to be, and in a daze and wanting to entertain the crowd he started being teddy and doing dumb shit. and it was dumb, not only because it wasn't what was planned, but because it was dangerous. but he was fucked up so cant hate the guy for it.. he was ahead of his time and hated the fact promoters kept asking him to do less, and then you see guys like Ricochet and AJ Styles today who are doing the same thing teddy was years ago. The saddest part is we never got to see a Teddy Vs AJ Feud cause that would have been legendary

ROH was never an "outlaw mudshow". They were a top indie from the beginning because of being based in Philly and their ties with ECW. Since you have no idea the backstory of this match, and you can't be bothered to research it yourself, it was a multi-team match based on athletic, high-flying, spot wrestling and not so much a hardcore/weapons style match -- like Jim criticizes as "outlaw mudshow" (hence IWA Mid-South/CZW/GCW/etc). Also, concussion doesn't explain it. That's from Teddy Harts mouth, not a doctor, and that dude's proven to be dishonest as fuck.
