That’s awesome you’re putting yourself out there and doing some really challenging work to help heal. I volunteer at a place that has vets gentling mustangs and it’s stunning.
Thank you for your service. Horses are so amazing at healing our hearts and spirits. This sounds like such a wonderful program! We need more programs like this for our service members that give so much. God bless.
Having worked with and owned Arabians, I felt so badly for Beau when he came in. I thought for sure he'd never make it through his intake day, but when he did, I have been just gobsmacked in love with him ever since. It's been wonderful watching him regain his health. I'm horrified at the obvious trauma reactions to bits and English saddles. I always rode English, so I would have worked with him to regain his trust and confidence with them if he was mine. I've worked with other abused/traumatized Arabs, and once they give you their trust, they will literally walk through fire for you (been there, done that!). I am REALLY going to miss Beau, but I'm so happy a real Arab person is taking him home, because I can tell she sees in him what I see in him. An honest horse, fearful because humans have betrayed his trust, but reachable. He has a good mind, is sensitive, responsive, attentive, and wants to please. I think Audrey is the perfect match for Beau, and I'm so happy he'll go into her program to help vets. It couldn't have been a better outcome for this spectacularly gorgeous Arabian gelding. I'm so happy for them both.
Beau has hit the jackpot with this lady. I've been watching your videos for years now and she's probably the most knowledgeable horse person I've seen adopt a horse.
@@kimhoffman2688 The adopter grew up with Arabians so I think they'll do just fine. With Beau accepting someone on crutches and leading him and making him accept the crutches and backing up with very little encouragement, I think they both are fortunate to have each other now.
Beau is amazing: beautiful and smart. He knew that the lady was not moving well and he was very respectful of her. And the lady knew what she was looking at.
Beau is an Arabian. Arabians are hot blooded, intelligent, and very sensitive horses. They need someone who understands them and knows how to work with them. Beau is my favorite. ❤
Arabs are amazing horses. Beau is definitely an Egyptian Arabian with that big dished beautiful head and refined body. If she has some bigger riders, she might want to look into getting a couple of Polish Arabians, there more stout and a little thicker. I've owned both, and their great. So happy for this gorgeous horse 🐴. Love and God Bless to all 💜 ✝️ Jennifer
@@mikehenry6284I couldn’t find a well bread big Arab in Ireland, all x breeds reaching 14hh for the most part …I had the honour of riding a x Arabian x Akleteke a gift to a friends dad from Quatar ..n omgg he was so amazing , I won a lot of 3 day events on him , amazing at every part, looked amazing in dressage
@bigbiemacaw That's awesome my friend, so you know what I'm talking about? There are bigger boned Arabs. So happy you had that experience and thanks for sharing it with me. ✝️ Jennifer
So glad to see the Navajo gentler again! Amber and Shane genuinely seem to care about the horses and clearly know what they are doing. Appreciate you and your efforts!
I had to go back to find out how old Beau is. I can't believe that a 19-year old horse can look so good after barely 2 months of good care. WOW! I am so happy that he was adopted.👍
What an incredible outcome for Beau I’m so happy for him. Well done HP on the outstanding achievement in bringing a technicality dead horse back to the lovely animal we see being re homed today, he has a bright future now.
Sometimes we teach horses, and sometimes they teach us. It looked like Beau was not going to make it. With the great vets and the caring team at HP, he will now help veterans. The lesson we learned: Don't give up. 🐎💌
What a miraculous recovery for Beau. An absolutely beautiful horse. What he must have suffered!!! The veterans will appreciate Beau's fears and help him as I am sure Beau will appreciate the veterans. Winston Churchill said - "When you are going through hell, keep going." Well done Beau - well done veterans. Thank you to the lady who will now protect Beau.
Such a satisfying end to Beau's tragic start and to someone that knows Arabians, there was a connection there...and like she said, HP takes excellent care of their horses in their wonderful facility...so happy for this beautiful boy...!
I can't believe Beau survived the first day he was brought to HPHS!!! WONDERFUL!!! He's si far survived a very hard life. He'll needs lots of time and trust building.
Bo was being absolutely fantastic with the lady that’s interested in him with the injured foot. He’s being such a respectful boy and being such a good radian. He’s so pretty.
If anyone deserves a happy ending, it's Beau. His story is just amazing. I am glad that he is going to be helping others who have been through terrifying times and come out on the other side to prosper. Good for him, and good for all the vets who will benefit from his life experiences. Thanks, veterans, for all you have given, and thank you Horse Plus for saving Beau to bring him to them.
Beau will thrive in endurance! And I'd bet he will be kind to veterans who need a sensible mind to build confidence. Seeing him quickly understand that the weird crutches aren't Beau-eating monsters, and how well he leads... she will get him to be a nice prospect!
Beau is such a smart horse, he only needs a bit of love and patience to work through his issues. You can see how clearly he was abused, especially the state he came in, but even with that you can see he wants to trust. There's a stranger with two foreign sticks around him but he knew she meant him no harm, was super careful and responsive to her, I wouldn't be surprised if in his own thoughts he knew she was more delicate than the others around him. I'm sure he's going to have a fantastic life once he learns to trust people again
Wonder how that special and beautiful Beau ever got in such horrible condition that he almost died. It's so amazing that he was adopted by someone who really understands and loves Arabians. the perfect happy ending!
Thank you Audrie for having faith in Beau and adopting him! You knew exactly what you needed and you saw it in Beau. I think he'll make a great addition to your program! I'll look you up on FB and YT. Best wishes for your non-profit! ✨❤️ Jo
IMO as a former Arabian horse breeder, Beau is very well bred and came from good bloodlines. He definitely has Egyptian lines, and wouldn't be surprised if his El Shaklan descendant.
Wow what fun watching Beau's adopter. His story needs to be told, a RUclips of his own. I hope she sends video of Beau in his new life! The pictures of Beau's arrival and now are just incredible. I know the Veterans with PTSD will totally understand Beau and his PTSD. They will help each other.
This has to be one of my favorite adoption videos ! The new owner was so thorough and it felt like they bonded . And what an amazing organization he will be going to ! ❤
What a phenomenal comeback story!!! These are the kind of stories that make movies 🤩. I hope we can see updates on Beau because I think he hit the jackpot with his new home. God Bless!!
When her crutches made me noise, Beu wasn't expecting it. He didn't rare back and quickly recognized the sound and wasn't afraid of it after the initial sound. He was so awesome with her leg in the brace. He didn't try to walk over her and when she showed him what she wanted, he caught on. She wants to get use him for veterans and like some, he too has a bit of PTSD so they can heal each other. Glad he went to a great home where he will help others. Having her grow up with Arabians is even better. Good luck and God bless them all.
Oh my gosh, Beau has become such a stunning horse after his incredibly tragic rescue. I am so glad he was saved! And his adoption has touched me a lot. I love Arabians, they are amazing. He would have been my dream horse during the time I was riding actively. Beau’s adopter with the veteran endurance program sounds like the perfect fit! I am so happy for both of them and wish his adopter a smooth recovery for her leg.
I wish there was some kind of update on these horses so that we could see how wonderful their lives are now. Idk, I just hope these horses get the best love and care from the people who adopt them from Horse 🐎 Plus.😊❤
Beau got adopted for a very important job and his Arabian soul will help him succeed. Arabs are very good at relating to people around them. They are smart , gentle, and just plain good horses!
High Forest should bring appropriate sized crates for the dogs. A dog should be able to stand and sit in a crate and they could not do either. This would get them cited.
Yes I’ve thought this too. They visit them, give kind words, gestures, treats and scratches without asking anything in return. Building their trust in humans ❤.
He is going to a lovely knownledged home! I myself had horse therapy with an Arabian, they are so special, sensitive and sensible. Fell absolutelty in love with the breed. The way he reacted to someone he doesn't know on cruches and is so carefull shows great potential! And she asked all the right questions in my opinion! If ever the stars align I hope to have my own horse preference is Arabian or Arabian cross.
I fell in love with Beau when he "fell" off the trailer. My mare was bay with facial markings just like Beau. So glad it looks like he is going to an excellent home. Good luck Beau! May this be a wonderful forever home!
Perfect match for Beau! He experienced his own PTSD, so working with Veterans will be good for both him and the vets. Lily & Sage would be great to be adopted together. They are quite the pair.
❤❤What a wonderful video. THE Story of Beau and Audrey is super. And I'm so interested in the horse gentler. I would love to know more about their approach.
I've been in love with Beau since he came in. I've always had Arabians. They're so smart and there isn't a more willing and loyal partner. She got a good one in Beau. He has a good mind and once he knows he can trust, he'll give his all.
I cried watching how fearful Beau was to go inside the trailer. We understand Beau. Only you lnow the hell you've been through. You have a nice home now and you'll be helping veterans. Much love and be happy Beau♥️😘
Im so happy for Beau. I think he will have a good life there. And also to se the intacebarn coming up and soon be ready for work. You are a fab organisation. Love you all.
How old is Beau, I missed that somehow.. So happy for him! The day he arrived I cried as I thought that Dr Lydia and Dr Gina were going to have to give him the Last Act of Kindness right there in the off load area! I think HIS story should be a "feature" on HP given the whole of it, he arrived in a condition that could be described as on death's door after being down in a crowded trailer for goodness knows how long, then springing back from that is a miracle truly, then he is a gorgeous pure bred Arabian and one has to ask how does a horse so well bred and beautiful end up in the horrific situation he was in? The last Egyptian Arabian I had came from a yearling newly gelded sale in Scottsdale AZ. They sell off when they have too many stud colts or have too many that are not flash enough for the show rings. I paid THOUSANDS because he was was from a prominent Egyptian bloodline, he was halter trained and did pick up his feet, but has beautiful as his conformation was, he was not flash enough for the ranch to keep. I found out really quick that pure bred Arabians of quality are NOT like other breeds. I am so happy for BEAU, I looked up the organization that he went to and made a donation in his name. He connected with the woman almost immediately. She will have him doing the Arabian "ballet" by four months from now and I am going to go to her site frequently to check on just that. But back to the "story" angle, he went to a VETERANS organization for help them with their PSTD and he is going to get HIS healing there to get over whatever horrible things happened to him! It's a great story and I think when you get special horses you should give them a full vlog of their own and continue to follow them as best as you can to show that they not only found love, but purpose and in Beau's case for sure will bless the lives of many Vets. I get it that some adopters may not want you poking in later after the adoptions, but in this case, I think Tawnee should get with this organization , the lady that came to take in Beau and ask for permission to follow up and perhaps even have her organization provide some "vlogs" of Beau, and some videos of the vets that get to ride him in the upcoming endurance rides. I know some of HP adoptions have been to people who have disabled programs for kids and etc. These stories is they could be followed somewhat would be GREAT PR for the reasons these rescued animals need help and have so much to give to help people. I am not a PR minded person, but I just know that there is a story here with Beau and perhaps other horses that have passed through HP that might help to get more donations as well when it is shown what happens AFTER they are saved and adopted.
YAY for Beau!!! He was such a good boy for her and amazingly respective of her being on crutches. I'm so happy she seen his potential and gave him a chance.
I’m really disheartened by some of the comments about the woman who adopted Beau. The most responsible thing to do is ask questions and get to know an animal before you commit to it. It’s not responsible to take an animal just because of their beauty and ignore their behavioral traits. Not to mention, we see short clips of what happened when they could’ve spent hours there for all we know. HPHS seems very transparent and has high morals when deciding whether to adopt out an animal to someone. I’m glad Beau has a second chance at a good life where he can have a job and maybe heal a few hearts along the way.
I agree, I think she and her program are an excellent fit for Beau. I was so impressed by her knowledge and thorough evaluation of Beau’s temperament. She didn’t just see a well bred, beautiful horse and adopt him no questions asked.
I am so happy to see Beau get a terrific home with someone who knows and has experience with Arabians. I want him so much but unfortunately can’t afford him.
Congratulations to Beau and his new owner Audrey, he is going to have an awesome and amazing home . And when he was in the trailer he sounded like he let out a happy neigh. I have had several Arabian horses over the years, and would sleep in my barn when my mares would foal. Very smart and amazing breed .
I really hope Beau works out with Audrey and the program, so would love to hear how he goes 🙂 One small thing, why are you all excited when something goes well, surely happy would fit better? E.g. 'I'm so happy that Beau has found a home'. Excitement and happiness are two different things. I know, I'm a spelling, grammar etc monster but I mean well. Love your work, this organisation is one of the best, I have been a subscriber for a long time. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Im one of the Veterans that struggle with PTSD that will be working with Beau helping each other

Haley you are a remarkable horse trainer and are very knowledgeable with all the horses. Keep up the great work darlin!
Love all the daily videos.🐎🌻
She’s SO lucky to have Beau !! I would’ve LOVED to have him also !!! ❤️🐴❤️
Thanks so much! Each and everyone one of you remind me that there is good in the world!
I am glad that Beau got such a smart owner. I have always had Arabians as well, and I am super happy with his new mom.
I am so happy to see Beau get a terrific home with someone who knows and has experience with Arabians. I want him so much but unfortunately can’t afford him.
Nice to see that Sage as Lily as a buddy. Garfield is just the cutest. So happy for Beau.
So glad Beau is going with this lady. It’s a good fit!
Thank you Audrey for giving Beau😍 a 2nd chance.
Hell be great for endurance ! ❤
Audrey hit the jackpot with Beau. I hope she gives him the happy ever after that he so deserves.
Yay! Beau!
From 0:42 and 1:02 too cute !!🧡🧡
Beau…. Perfect match. That gal knows horses.
