Last item is a 19th century mourning ring. The date refers to the person's death; and the initials are the deceased initials. They were sometimes decorated with locks of the deceased's hair as well.

At :57, an electric lighter for barbecues using charcoal briquettes. My family had something similar.
Your final object looks like a Victorian mourning ring. Mourning jewelry was a very popular way to commemorate deceased loved ones, and often incorporated plaited hair from the deceased.

For all its rainfall Hawaii is a relatively dry island group. There is groundwater, wells and underground rivers but a lot of this is polluted by agrochemicals. The infrastructure for delivering water is also not as good as it could be and many people collect rainwater.
The horsewhip thing... I had something very similar years ago. It was from North Africa and was used to 'encourage' donkeys to get going. The shaft wasn't actually wood but made from from, I believe, really thick skin, twisted like rope. It was fibrous, slightly flexible and very tough.

It's not intended for that use, and the narrator says what it's intended for.

The last item looks like a mourning ring. I do not think it is Jewish, simply because of the alphabet used.

"What is this thing that is shaped like a ring that you can wear like a ring that looks like a ring?" It's a ring, Einstein!

Seal rings would have the letters in mirror, so the impression would be right way to read.
