Moon's "Naughty Naughty" is definitely aimed at Glitchtrap. If you listen closely, you can even hear Moon laughing when Vanny crushes Glitchtrap
This makes me wonder what kind of role moon really has In The story. Him being the one who fetches the glitchtrap plushie from the claw machine, having this mysterious variation "jack-o-moon" that we haven't seen anywhere before, him and circus baby's repeated "what makes you so special" line. It makes me feel like the daycare attendants, moon specifically, have a much bigger role that it seems.

I wonder if they are saying that because whatever we, the player, are doing, has some kind of significance or is some kind of special role. Why would we have to be 'special' in order to do whatever it is we're doing? Either that, or if the bonnie bro theory is correct, the 'special' line kinda further proves that.

I love the old-styled furniture, and that furnance looks fancy too. PLUS FNAF plushies as well,
I am glad that this game tried to connect all these ideas that were kinda flying around after Help Wanted 1. I have not fully understood if Cassie's father is Jeremy, but it does suggest that Jeremy from HW1 is in fact Jeremy Fitzgerald (which I really like, I loved this idea of Jeremy being more than an alias for Michael, and being always connected to Bonnie)

My take/theory, inspired a bit by MatPat's theories prior to the game release.
Cassie's dad was Michael's friend who wore the Bonnie Mask during the Bite of 83. He later became a technician.
He is the player character of HW2 (at least for the in simulation parts) since the animatronics don't call him a child or a boy. In fact, a few characters such as Carnie, Glamrock Freddy, etc. treat him as an adult, parent, or technician.
The Bonnie mask links the two as the Bite of 83 is the only time we see a Bonnie mask.
We know he worked at the Pizzaplex due to how Cassie mentions the log ride and other things such as the Fazwrench.
At some point, he is brought down to the theater area with the rest of employees and killed by the Endos of the Pizzaplex. (The massacre is heavily hinted at in a few emails/logs.) I believe that he and the other employees then had their remnant put into the STAFF Bots, which would explain a LOT of things.
Eventually Cassie's dad became Mask Bot, and handed the VANNI mask to Cassie. (Which may also imply that he used to be Map Bot as well.)

Where was the endo massacre ever hinted at? This is the first I'm hearing of it and I'm on the wiki, endos and the daycare theatre have never been mentioned in the dufflebags, or the FNAF AR emails (I assumed that's not what you were talking about but I figured I'd check anyway)

@@nyra8263 The massacre is hinted at in emails/logs for FNAF AR and Security Breach, including the unused ones. In the emails, the story implies that Vanessa used her connections between Silver Parasol Games, DLZ Shipping, and Fazbear Entertainment to send viruses and gain access to data and information.
A lot of staff are mentioned to be fired, laid off, or no longer working for these companies, implying they were killed off one by one and in groups.
There is also a few emails detailing large amounts of employee data such as their names, birth month, occupation within the company, and favorite cake flavor.
There is then an addition at the end that shows that there was a MASSIVE 'company retreat' with most of them going.
Security Breach shows that all staff were replaced by STAFF Bots and that Vanessa is the sole human at the facility now.
Add in the large amounts of Endos hidden in the underground areas, including the theater's basement, and one hidden Endo wearing a party hat covered in pink frosting, and it's pretty clear that large groups of employees were lured to specific areas and killed by Endos.
It’s really interesting that it’s a Bonnie mask to me, because in the past, Bonnie hasn’t had much lore importance. He was always just there, but never a crucial part to the story.

@@dominator80053 I wouldn't go jumping to any conclusions yet. The evidence we have of that is pretty lacking as is, I like the theory but this is FNAF lore we're talking about. Stuff doesn't make sense
I think the Princess Quest ending may be a warped view of reality. What I mean is that it is being warped by the Vanny mask (which we are still technically wearing since we need to be wearing it to activate the arcade machine in the first place). This would explain why we can see the princess when she reaches the room that we are in. She's a arcade game sprite, yet reality is warped to make us, the player, believe she is really in front of us. It would also explain why we see the Sister Location elevator at the end. The hub world is the FNAF 6 location. And, if this location is truly Fredbear's (which seems very likely), then this explains it. On the Sister Location blueprints, it shows how Fredbears, Sister Location, and the Afton house are all connected. There is a vent shaft connecting Fredbears and the Circus Gallery in Sister Location.
Us moving through the level is, I believe, the player moving through the hallways in FNAF 6 (like the ones we walk through in SB and Ruin), yet as I said, reality has been warped by the Vanny mask to make us see something different.

The bite theory is pretty solid, even the skin tone would match her father. But unless Cassie mentions anything about her dad no longer being present, it can’t be confirmed
its strongly implied through the collectibles dialogue an example being: "My dad *used* to collect these" and there is even an AR Classic Bonnie mask with the description "Where are You?" possibly referring to her dad or just Glamrock Bonnie, if it was on the Glamrock Bonnie Plushie it would make more sense for it to just be Bonnie but its specifically the Classic Bonnie Mask

I'd like to think of it as both Afton and Cassidy are moving on, with the successors of their own stories in place. Sad to see this first era end, if that's true, but I'd be excited for what comes next!

It would make sense if OMC is William Afton and he’s been trying to get rid of the Afton virus for years.
Since red (OMC) + blue = purple. And there is a massive difference between him and Shadow Bonnie. Like there is between Cassidy and the shadow Princess.
OMC is the one who said that the glitch trap plushy was a trade, meaning he considers it a part of himself and he’s somehow trading it with you.

I think playing as Cassie's Dad does make sense, I just wish there was some sort of acknowledgement of Cassie by the protag during HW 2 - it would have been perfect to include like a panicked/sign of recognition during the mask bot scene when we see Cassie. I find it weird that there is no recognition in that moment if it really is Cassie's Dad, even if he had no control of his actions maybe his thoughts would be his own.
It would have been nice if, (if it's true that the protag/playable character is Cassie's dad) he had some spoken lines/thoughts that we could hear /that reference Cassie or at least having a kid, during the game. Or at least in the Mask bot ending we could've had the playable character have a panicked thought as they boot up and see Cassie, e.g. 'No, Cassie!' Etc, everything else playing out as it did in HW 2, Cassie's dad unable to control himself and following instructions, give Cassie the mask.

@@grenouillesupreme It wouldn't have to sound like a Staff Bot, as it would just be like a voiced thought in the sound of Cassie dad's voice. But it could also sound like a staff bot and it would still be able to give across the impression of being shocked/startled/panicked etc. Tone etc can come through regardless. If I could share a voice clip here I would but yeah it's shown across many forms of media (so common in FNaF in particular so you should be familiar with it) that robot/animatronics can be voiced by amazing voice actors that showcase tone and emotion.

@@grenouillesupreme I know. What I'm describing is not audible. It wouldn't have been heard by Cassie. I'm describing an internal line like a sudden thought. The sight of his daughter suddenly pulling at the little bit of humanity (of Cassie's Dad) that still remained in the Mask Bot.
Yes, the protag is silent the whole game, I would have loved if they weren't and there were other signs of a personality or memories that they had, throughout the game.
BUT since that may not have been the direction Steelwool wanted to go in, given they didn't do all that. I'm just proposing that our silent protag could have had that one voiced line at the end as a dramatic moment, and give some sort of confirmation/strong hint to the identity if it was indeed Cassie's dad.

What if Cassie's dad after getting attacked by the Nightmare Staff bots gets turned into the staff bot that gives Cassie the Vanny Mask. That would explain why we see from the Staff bot's perspective in the 1st ending and why that staff bot has Bonnie ears. Cassie's dad gives her mask so she can finish what he had started.
Whoever gets attacked by Nightmare Staff bots IS turned into Map Bot who later gives Cassie the Vanny Mask. I believe this was quite straightforward. As for Bonnie ears, unfortunately your idea don’t fit since the Map Bot isn’t the only one with twisted bunny-like appearance (another example - Mini Music Men from ruin, and as far as I remember there were few other Staff Bots with the same ears and whiskers).
As much as people want to meme on Matpat and Crazy theories, when the community gets 1 right, there happy, Bonnie boy in FNAF 4 mini games being Cassie Dad being 10 times more likely is going make some people happy.

The “Why does this look familiar.” Line to me points that Cassidy is the Princess and is trying to remember why The Bonnie mask seems like she has seen it from before, like who it used to belong to.
And I also think this confirms that the Classics were at some point used before FNAF 1, but the suit designs were retrofitted and were quickly abandoned because of being too ugly, and they later decided to stick with the Classic models.
Also people say that Bonnie bully is Cassie’s dad….but depending on Bonnie bully being a teenager in 1983, and most likely being born in the 70s……and FNAF SB being possibly in the 2030s or late 2020s….He would be Old by then. Oh And Carnie also said “You Look Young enough to have kids”.”
PS: It’s possible to have kids at a late age? I didn’t know that.
To me, If we go off the theory that we are playing as Cassie’s dad, confirms that Cassie’s dad is the bonnie bully from the fnaf 4 minigame. It makes sense, to me at least, since it being familiar means that our protagonist in help wanted 2 has seen or even worn the mask before. Idk, it just makes sense to me.

As someone who's dad had me in his late 40's and is currently in his early 60's (I'm a young teen btw) this post is kinda nonsense. Give or take, it's possible.
Maybe Cassie is gonna be the new vanny, if that mask belonged to her dad then the familiar line makes more sense
Update: The age thing is kinda nonsense. William Afton killed his first kid around his 50’s to 60’s, seeing that he probably wouldve been born near the early40’s (Based on “Fredbear’s singin’ show”) being in or around the 30’s to 40’s (that being because of how cheap the tickets were probably being near the Great Depression). Now, why am I using William as evidence? Because that shows that age doesn’t really matter for when a child could be born and/or when a human being could still be in this field of work.
I haven't see anyone mention Candy Cadet's story. It's possible i missed someone but the Vanny ending getting her revenge matches Candy Cadet's story. Steel Wool has so far released 1 dlc per game. Curse of Dredbear for HW1, and Ruin for Security Breach. I do think Steel Wool is gonna make a dlc for HW2 probably after a couple patches and the release of Flat Mode.

so in between security breach and ruin DLC, Vanny comes back to destroy the digital remains of Glitchtrap, cleaning the Pizzaplex network, and installing the new security protocol M.X.E.S. in order to do so, she recieves help from inside the network itself by Cassie's dad, a Faztechnician that is hinted to be missing/dead

The new office look insanely cool ! HW2 endings are very cryptic but because of this very intriguing.
There's one thing I want to add: During that ending, you end-up in a claw machine. Now, seeing that glitchtrap was hidden in a plushie, added with the large amount of Nightmarionne plushie hiding ALL AROUND the games, and also the fact that the red old man is (most likely) Old Man Consequence (being able to pull peoples out of life/death (by jumping into the lake, and here by taking you out of the game), I feel like Cassy's Dad ALSO turned into a plushie. And Vanny left him into the machine, (maybe) with him being turned into a Bonnie plushie

The Bonnie mask we find and is said it looks familiar. that leads me to believe that we play as Cassie's dad who was one of the friends with Michael back during the bite of 83.
So many things that have to do with Bonnie/Jeremy. I have a theory that not only was the kid in the Bonnie mask Cassie’s dad, but that Jeremy was his son. Cassie could’ve been born YEARS later. Just a theory of maybe why there’s so many things that have to do with Bonnie in this game. 🤷🏻♀️

Honestly, I won't be surprised if we're playing as Cassie's dad because overall it seems quite connected. This clearly takes place between Security Breach and Ruin, but also shows stuff through the years that only a person who's been around during those times would know about.
Another idea that sprung into mind is that maybe we're playing as both Cassie AND her dad. We're playing as Cassie when we're NOT wearing the mask, but when we have the mask on, we're experiencing through her dad's point of view.
This would also explain the progression of the game. If you play it through every simple level (not hard mode) you're pretty much shown the ropes (through his eyes) on how to play the games, but eventually you take it off and you are experiencing post-security breach stuff, which would mean we're playing as Cassie.
The *ONE* big wrench in my theory is the Hardmode Ruined Roxy makeup game, where eventually you give her her mask. Now, that can't be Cassie doing it because that's not what happened - so it's kinda killing the whole theory I have right there.
I'm willing to say that maybe we're playing as Cassie's dad with the mask and VANESSA outside of the mask. That would fill the hole in my theory.
There’s also something I noticed, the carnie even tells you “now, you look like you got kids.” 👀
Anyone remember FNaF 2? Withered Bonnie had something missing... the face (even though this one doesn't fully fit in that space). If this is intended to be the missing part of the face, then the person we play as may have significant relation to FNaF 2, which would make a lot of sense. Areas such as the carousel minigame are very fitting of the FNaF 2 establishment, as it is one of the only places where the OG animatronics and something resembling Funtime Foxy would coexist, as MatPat pointed out (though he actually didn't even say the FNaF 2 place, he forgot about Mangle). This could be signaling to us that Sister Location, Pizza Sim, AND FNaF 2 are all related to Security Breach.

Bonnie has his face back, that what it means
It feels clear to me based on this ending that we're playing as Vanessa throughout this game. Namely because, as anyone who's experienced and overcome a traumatic experience can tell you, there's only one person that can turn your trauma from an everyday obstacle into a past memory. And that's you.
Vanny destroying Glitchtrap is showing that she's overcome his influence, and only she has the power to truly do that.

Cassie's dad is who we play as i'm guessing. BUT! Cassie's dad could also be the bonnie bro in the fnaf 4 minigame (the bite of "83) it lines up pretty well imo. he might've also become a technician because he didn't want anything like the bite to happen ever again.
Duuuude, the Bonnie bully theory is actually so cool. I would absolutely love for that to be true. It would be an interesting way to tie the past to the future, and it would still give us a “new” character that we can be invested in for future games/stories :0

First thing first, love the new office!! Secondly at first I thought we were playing as Cassie since the location we’re in is below the pizzaplex and Cassie is the only human that’s trapped down there In ruin. But now I’m also 80% sure we’re her dad, for the same reason as you it makes more sense to me now especially since our vanny mask gets taken from us in help wanted 2 and is given to Cassie later for ruin.

I think there're a lot of options for who the player character is, but I most think it is Vanessa.
I think it being Vanessa fits Candy Cadet's story of a character coming back to defeat a childhood villain. I think she would have gotten the mask in Curse of Dreadbear and listened to Glitch trap for some time before wanting more.
In Help Wanted 2, you see exchanging the mask for the small Gltichtrap plushie, which represents Gltichtrap. He is then crushed by a giant Vanny as Vanny has usurped him.
I don’t see this. Why would we (as the player) see vanny if we WERE Vanessa.

There seems to be a fixation on Bonnie with the bowling and putting the glamrock version of him as a reward and even in the achievement thumbnails when you first fin a plush it shows the Bonnie plush or doll on it and it says "Remember Jeremy?" maybe it has something to do with the kid Jeremy or the security guard Jeremy. There also seems to be a similar fixation on moon as well.

The area where the Bonnie mask is looks like where the vanny mask is found in the curse of dread bear DLC, that's why it's familiar
But why's it familiar to the character we play as?
I think the Bonnie mask is a call back to the bite of 83 of Cassie's dad being one kid with the Bonnie mask, I think it'd make so much sense

Im not sure if this theory is already made or not, but i think cassie's dad died and is turned into the help bot that gives cassie the mask. The scene when seen on the stage after the cutscene also shows bonnie ears on the help bot. Just a random detail though.

I haven't finished the video yet, but I find it interesting that we find the Bonnie mask specifically as Bonnie is posessed by Cassidy in the books. Especially with Cassidy being the old name for the Princess.
Ofc there's also Cassie's dad's connection to Bonnie paired with the old similar name for the Princess.

The main reason I believe that the dad is the character you play in this game is that Monty Gator is not anywhere in the game. Since Monty killed Rockstar Bonney, it would make sense that the dad would not want to do things associated with him.

I think everyone needs to take note about something I noticed I think some people may have overlooked. In the office level when Baby gives you the ice cream, it's VANNY's arm that's giving you the ice cream. I'm pondering why that's happening, could it be this game is showing the power struggle between Glitchtrap and Vanny?
