Hey Eddie. Great vlog showing somewhere/something different in Pattaya. I often go for a stroll along Walking Street in the morning after a quiet night in after too many big nights out in a row. I hear you about traveling in large chunks. For the past three years I work for about 5-6 months then spend a month in Pattaya/Thailand. Gives me something to look forward to. By the end of the month I feel ready to head back to Australia and start the whole process all over again. I have to admit I really enjoyed your Vietnam vlogs and I think I'll make that my next destination. Take care mate and again thanks for sharing!
Lightning fast upload...Who would've thought 10 years ago we could see LIVE travel videos from distant lands ?? Tech has changed things in mind- boggling fashion. I grew up with phones that were attached to walls and manual typewriters...and now, someone can be walking through a mall in Manila and be talking...LIVE ??!!....Breath- taking
Agreed. But me and Eddie can remember when traveling "unconnected" was an adventure. Call stations to phone home. Postcards for connecting. Better today, but it was different.
Me too. I appreciate the Hi-tech of today. We can travel and see places in thailand right in our room. Saves time and plane ticket. Thanks to Mr. Sweeney doing the tour for us. Saves a lot of money too. Seeing Thailand right in my room.
Great Vlog as always Ed, really refreshing to see a vlog on that area. Im disabled and have never managed the walk that far, so really interesting. Looked very nice. Im living on my UK pension & the exchange is killing me, fingers crossed it will get better. Enjoy the rest of your stay & stay safe. 👍
Looks great and provides a different view. I use to catch a baht bus to Jomtien Beach and walk down the beach road there until there was almost no one around, then turn around and walk back to where I started. Great detox spot. Cheers😁👍
Hey Eddy, Another great vid. I agree with you 100%, 90 days at a time is perfect. Gives you a little time home to recharge and gives you time to miss the place... That's important. About the content still in the vault, gives you something to do when you get home and all of us to look forward to. Steady on Eddy, thanks and Cheers.
Just left there a couple days before you arrived. I was hoping maybe I'd run into you, lol. Home a few days and already trying to figure out my return!
Hi Ed,...warmth, sunnyshine, and cold beer...not in England this time of year...unless you have some winter Bunnies to cuddle up too and keep Everything hott...try the States, Cali, Az., Fla...still warm there...find the New Sunny Soi.
Eddy, I agree. I thought about my future retirement and think 3 months in the Dominican Republic and 3 months in Asia may be enough for the start. I can see that maybe I can extend that as I see fit based on what happens but always like to return to home base. I think based on what I have learned, we should keep home base in our home countries. That is protection right?
Hi Eddie. I have followed your videos with interest this holiday and hopefully now I am subscribed I can continue on your next trip, really enjoyed them thanks. Do you ever travel to the Islands in Thai?
Nice one Eddie. Pity I missed your livestream but I was busy in Bangkok. I'm glad it went well though. Back home now but maybe one day I will see you in the flesh. Keep the great videos up. Always look forward to your adventures.
About Chiang Mai... 3 times there. Not sure why. Thought some connection things would work out. A visitor might take a city tour outside the old city. Took a girl in C. M. to Isaan to see her "dying" father. (He was in bed). But glad I saw Isaan. The people are very friendly. They are poor, but very self sufficient. They grow and raise everything they need. Anyway, the family took me to a national park where we visited a dinasaur museum. It is one of the best museum I have seen. It is in the Caldacine City area. There are large cities in Isaan. So might be worth considering. Also, lots of dying fathers and buffallos.
Hi, Robert. Yes, I will be uploading Chiang Mai vids soon. I must admit, it wasn't a successful third visit, but many others seen to like it. Always good to hear from you, mate.
Hi Edward yea been to walking street loads of times never thought of going right out the other end.Looks great will check it out cheers Edward and it was great meeting you..
Nice video Eddie, when you had that smile on your face at the start i thought you were heading down boom boom street haha. See I'm getting to know the streets and i haven't even been there yet ha.
Well said. Six months of travelling and partying can be a bit much. If someone hasn't done this sort of traveling they can't really relate to the novelty wearing off after awhile. I travelled the world working and partying for many moons so I can understand where you're coming from.
If you keep on going Ed you got Phra Tamnak Mountain with an amazing view and temple to visit too, and then further down to the coast lovely Cosy Beach area, another place with a laid back atmosphere and a beautiful beach that never gets busy!
We got in to pattaya about Friday night. How come nobody ever talks about the drains, it's like been next too a sewer. The hotel as put carpet over the covers like that does anything
I went up that end of Walking Street when I was thinking of going to one of the restaurant boats in the harbour. Maybe that would be a good instructional video for you to do Edward.
Steady Eddy. I'm also in Pattaya I flew in yesterday and I was lucky to get in as I've spent about 160 days in Thailand in the past year. They said I can come in for a few weeks and then go and give it a rest for a while. They don't like my money. I'm going to go to the Philippines in ten days. I'll see how I feel about that. I have many Thai friends but I don't want to risk coming and being turned around. I've never been in trouble with the police or overstated a visa and I have enough money to live comfortably when I'm here. Any thoughts. ??
nice to have a wander in the less visited places. that Indian 24 hr joint looks good, might have to check it out. nothing like a good ass burnin curry after a night on the town
Any way you could have a visit with Kev (of "Kev in Thailand") when you go home? I think he lives local to you, went back there to get his cancer treated. Great vid Ed, thanks .
3rd comment... excuse. But Kev, Rob and others have also helped change my views on Pattaya. Bad talk of it on other channels. But a big city, and family friendly. Many options.
5 guys from Sheffield want to hire you to go to Vietnam next April for F1 r u up for it🤔 3 days there then 3 days Cambodia then 2 weeks in pattaya at my house in Najomtien. It's gonna be mint.
over the years i have travelled to many parts of Thailand and i can honestly say Pattaya would not come in my top 20 not even close, but i suppose for many men its there comfort blanket, good luck to all you people who do these vlogs i just wish if you continue to makes vlogs about different parts of Thailand it would be good if you learnt to pronounce the place names correctly as Thais would pronounce them,

Hi, Pique. Yes, I still have videos from Chiang Mai and Bangkok to upload, but I think they'll be okay for next month. Yes, I went live in Bangkok, only for an experiment, but it's difficult from Thailand because of the huge time difference. I'll have to see what I can do with that. I hope all's well, my friend, and it's always good to hear from you.
