Agreed; animal cruelty and fur being used in fashion isn't cool, but there are MUCH more productive, effective, and less immature ways to go about protesting it and fixing the issue. I'm a HUGE fan of fashion and I adore watching runway shows, so this just pissed me off! They go through so much work to put the show together and then she jumps in and ruins it. Also, you have to pick your poison: for clothing, you can use plant matter, animal products or oil, but plant-based alternatives are limited and expensive and all options require oil to get it to you.
Activists complain when animal products are used, because they can imagine them being killed... But they're nowhere to be found for the countless animal deaths caused by avocado farming.
As far as I'm concerned, I think it's better to have one animal die if getting you that coat will cost 1 barrel of oil than to find one piece of clothing made of natural fibers, but it will take 50 oil barrels to get it to you AND devastate 10 acres of a tropical forest to grow it.

Essentially doing what people all over have wanted to do to PETA protestors for years. The amount of time and energy that women put into protesting a fashion show could have been spent caring for animals at a shelter.
Poor animals, killing innocent beings is not awesome fashion.. it's a disgrace and not tasteful at all. Luckily the industry is starting to see this but they are still far away. You can look gorgeous and still not at the cost of a poor's animal life. Cheers to that woman from Peta 👏🏼

I am totally against wearing fur, especially when you consider what they are doing with faux fur these days. You can hardly tell the difference, so there really is no reason to wear it anymore. That said, that push off the stage was a pretty good move.

I agree that using fur from any animal (or skin, feathers or parts ect.) for fashion this day and age is cruel and kinda gross. I've no problem eating animals, our body uses it to rebuild themselves (where vegetables just repair, we can't take plant dna and convert it into our own, which we do with meat.)

Ever watch the movie SAW?? Killing animals for Fur doesnt just kill the animal. They are tortutured alive, when they are trapped, their bones are crushed by the trapts, leaving them in horrific pain for days, all they can do is cry in complete agony and loneliness. Then they are skinned, mostly alive and its HORRIBLE!!!
