I think it’s more so got to do with his mindset, he’s not clear minded. It’s clearly not a lack of skill, and we’ve seen lots of non force sensitive Wield the dark saber
I always ponder if the blade has no weight, then it's really hard to tell where it is when you make motions. Especially if it also moves with almost no wind resistance as it's appeared to. But the 'heavy' aspect we've seen with this - and also with "A New Hope" where it was directed that one would have to use both hands? Tells me there's probably something more going on, and at one point someone thought this out so it'd make sense. Whatever it is, I've just written it in my head that the reason more people don't use lightsabers is the same reason monofilament whips are a weapon in cyberpunk settings which get eye rolls. Just as dangerous to a novice as the targets, but those who practice and don't kill themselves will be *lethal* using them.

I can see why people have been disappointed with it. The narrative is good but they’re establishing Boba Fett in a way contrary to how he is typically depicted; Din is that function in Star Wars now. Boba has decided to do what bounty hunters do not and “branch upwards” (no pun intended). It’s not a bad series but I understand why some people are put off by it.
Boba stole an episode in Mando season 2 so it's only right Mando take an episode back. Great to see where his head is after he had to give Grogu away and lose his ship.

if you're going to get dismembered with anything, a lightsaber or the darksaber is probably one of the best since, yes, it'll hurt and burn like hell but you won't slowly bleed out afterwards so the chances of surviving it high compared to like a sword.

Well, this was only one episode and the subsequent had Grogu in it. Either way, Grogu is incredibly important and a season 3 without Grogu wouldn’t be right…for lack of a more specific explanation. I think they’re going to lead to that being resolved prior to season 3 starting as a means of not losing momentum and in order to get people to watch this series, so when season 3 starts Grogu is back for the first episode.

I think what makes a lightsaber so much more difficult to wield than a standard blade is because there is literally no part of the blade that is safe to touch. Traditional blades have flats, but every inch of a lightsaber can fuck you up.

I was so excited to see Din in this series. I don’t think Pedro was there for any of these episodes due to filming of The Last of Us and his doubles did an incredible job.
