Holy crap this looks amazing. I watched on the RUclips app and on the browser on the Quest 2. The 3D effect doesn't work on the browser, but a 2D option is available. The RUclips app applies the effect perfectly.

You get more manual options for watching 3D and VR content in RUclips in the Firefox browser on quest 2.

@@RaMarcus Basically what it is like as a camera. My last camera was an Insta360 and looking at the old footage looks really dated now. A 3d camera looks fun and I would like to see what it is capable of. Also nice to see you posting again
glad to see a new post on your channel and wish you much success with your VR ventures. Do you know if it is possible to download a working driver for the Oculus Go for a windows 10 PC? The driver download on the Oculus website does not work with the Go on my PC. Thanks!
Thanks. A driver to do what? If you want to connect it to your PC and access the files it should just work, connect, accept the message in the headset and done.
@@RaMarcus Thanks. Yes, just to add and delete media files. Unfortunately my PC doesn't recognize the Go and I get no message to accept in the headset. I did however install Sidequest on my PC and it allows access to files so it's a good workaround :)
Hey glad to see you posting some videos, I was beginning to wonder. If this is the direction you want to go in then great ( any Ramarcus content is good content ) I'll be looking forward to being brought into your world via the wonders of 3D and VR etc etc. I need to watch this video on my Quest later and I'll comment again with feedback but I just wanted to say hello, glad to see the arcade's still going and you're interested in doing some reviews.

Finally, it looks like they're on the right track for a 3D camera. I've got a bit of a collection of 3D cameras from over the years and none have got it right so far so I'd done a bit of experimenting with a dual camera rig, got some quite good results but it was bulky and a task to edit.
The ego looks pretty good in a VR headset (still to try on TV and projector) so that might be getting added to my collection.
In 2D it looks soft and not good, I think the left lens for most people seems that way. In 3D the right lens seems to make up for it and helps. It's one of the best 3D cameras I own and I have a few as well... got a collection going on. 😅
@@RaMarcus yep, looks good. Just watched on projector and you pop out from the screen really well and the depth is good on that.

@@RaMarcus hi ramarcus, I got myself an EGO but I'm having a bit of a problem with it and wondering if you have any ideas.
When I record at 60fps I'm getting tiny sort of micro jerks in the footage, most noticeable during panning/tilting, every half second or so.
It's more noticeable on a gimbal because it's otherwise very smooth and I thought it was possibly the gimbal but it also happens with handheld. Any thoughts?
Is that just when you preview on the camera, via the app or when viewed on a PC or VR Headset? Double check it's actually in the final footage and not just the camera lagging or something.

Bought and returned Qoocam Ego: 1) Battery life barely 45 min 2) Overheated immediately 3) New stabilization firmware marginal 4) Constant loss of wifi connection 5) Buttons and window swiping terrible 6) Instructions poor.
Still enjoy mine. I have multiple batteries plus USB powerbank if needed. Over heating is an issue but learn to work around it. I use a gimbal as stabilisation will add a crop as well so shouldn't be used. Can't say I've had WiFi issues and it's been slow to start but responsive for me. Instructions are limited but its not complicated, however it does have a few things to consider when being used.

Even upscaled to 2160p it's still looks soft 😒
Partly it might be that my focus was off, as you need to set it manually and I may have got wrong. Plus indoors means less light and does affect it as well. However the footage viewed outside of the included viewer never seems to be as shape as that seems.
@@RaMarcus it's looks soft on 24" screen but Ok in Oculus GO. Video noise level really low. Did You apply vertical alignment?
Yeah it has vertical alignment, just used the auto settings and it worked well. Applied a very small amount of sharpening just to try and help make it clearer.
