It's not that expensive, it's just another marketing thing. I buy Læsø salt because to be honest, it isn't that expensive in Denmark.
This is a truly amazing video. So inspirational. I wish i could know what being a salt like this was like. Being worth so much. That must be amazing. I will continue working hard to pursue my passion of being this salt until i have achieved it. Beautiful, soft and easily granulated salt indeed. This man is an amazing legend. I too, wish to be a chruchy salt someday, so i can be used on eggs. «Very salty» is the best way to describe this salt, and i could not have said it better myself. I orderd 2kg.. wasn'tthat expensive.. shipment was more than the product it self.. and it was just to Sweden. .
But by far best salt ever, (I love trying salt from various parts of the world and im up to 52 different onces now, and this salt is my favorite since it's salty enought but also somehow sweet compared to other salt's that have a bitter aftertaste even if it's mined, sea or volcanic salt)
While magnesium citrate is the very healthy content of the salt.
How exactly can you skim salt? It's a crystal and heavier than water.

This is just sea salt and there are many other finer,... more expensive salts.
Asin Tibuok from the Philippines.
Japanese Sea Salt.
Korean 9 times roasted salt.
Blue Persian salt from Iran.
When I saw the price,.... I researched and came to this video.
Nothing here to indicate why it is so expensive except you are paying for Danish Socialism.
And the Tax was more than the price of the salt.

It's not even that expensive, we actually use it sometimes, but I don't understand why it's so expensive elsewhere...
Læsø is not in the Baltic sea - Its right in the middle of the strait of Kattegat.
The brine used is special because its formed by centuries of flooding and land rising from the ocean, also a lot of minerals are brought to the land filtering the brine by birds etc.
If it's the most expensive.. Where does that leave bamboo salt?!
