What an awesome skidoo trip. When I had a sled I used to love it 100 per cent more than an atv, when snow is deep and in good condition you can explore a lot more country. Looking at you guys cruising around brings back a lot of memories. Cheers

Thanks! Indeed hauling enough fuel for 3 machines, with 3 machines is challenging. It was a tough call. But (spoiler alert) as you'll see in the next video of this adventure, it was worth it :-)

I was just in Fort McPherson and was given some caribou stew. Maybe it came from the hunter you visited with!

Love the content, and Congrats on upgrading your sleds. I found your channel after ordering a new Ski-doo myself (1st timer). As an avid ice fishing guy, I definitely like the way you utilize the Otter hub for your remote portable camping. I have to ask one question. When you guys are on these trips and you come across a cabin out in the middle of nowhere, is this something you reserve? If not, how do you know it will be available? What if someone comes knocking in the middle of the night? How does that work?

Thanks! We don't use any cabins in the bush unless the owner gives us permission, or it's a public use cabin. These cabins are remote and if someone else shows up, you share the cabin.

You folks don't sound American or Canadian. How did you happen to end up in remote northern Canada? Videos are great, keep up the good work.

Good question! It’s a long story, but the very short version; we are originally from France and the Netherlands. We both immigrated to Canada for adventure (26 and 19 years ago), and by chance met each other 17 years ago, in the small community we still call home today. 😊

Leandra made it from caribou fur. It's incredibly warm!
