You shall become an honorary yukoner. You’ve done a beautiful job of making our territory so cinematic. Thanks for coming up and making this, then sharing it. Great job!
Thakn you so much, I am 100% Yukoner already in sprint and mind. I'm forever addicted and in love. Can't wait to go back... I miss it like a child missing his mama.
These videos are simply otherworldly. The nature, the wildlife, the journey.... But the best part is your attitude! Love seeing and hearing your genuine reactions to everything along the way, makes me feel like I'm along for the ride.
Wow that's gotta be one of the best comments :-) I really appreciate that!! There's always a fine line between overly talking etc but I think the emotional side, and the reactions as you say are what makes it REAL and that's exactly what I'm going for, I'd like you to feel like you are right there with me! PART 2 coming up soon!
I love how you take care of your mind and body by picking up on signs of exhaustion and letting yourself to rest, Eze. Thank you again so much for taking us along! I fell in love with your content and looking forward to see you other adventures!
Eze, you are an absolute animal.... the bears should fear you. The effort and energy you exert are unimaginable. Your video work is gorgeous. Thank you for providing this epic for us.
Thank you for bringing us along on your wonderful adventure. I enjoyed it from the comfort of my air conditioned house!! But I like to adventure myself now and then. Nature is amazing. Thank you for taking care of it.
What a wonderful, multi-faceted delight! I am drawn right into this excellent video as you share your thoughts with the viewer and I feel that I am along on the trip. There is so much to learn about preparations for an adventure of this magnitude and it is shared along the way. Expert videography really makes this a winner!
love watching outdoor boys, Xander Butnick and Lost lakes. but thankfully just found you the other day with ur 151km adventure through Patagonia! that was wild. this is awesome too can't wait to watch others in the future. thanks for the adventures, places most of us will never see but seeing the effort u put in means alot
Absolutely wonderful Part 1. Enjoyed the kissing of the fish, had a good chuckle. Love that you thanked your family for making the trip possible, appreciation is the best! You have to watch those Canadian mosquitoes, they will carry you off if your not weighted down! haha! Thanks for sharing and am heading now to watch Part 2! :) :)
Absolutely epic! What an undertaking and solo! When you was away I was waking up every morning and checking your progress on the map, so good to actually see it now. The landscape and the adventure is even better than I imagined. Great work! Proud to see my sticker on the barrel. Can't wait for the next episode!!
Cheers Paulie I appreciate that, and I know you were following along, you were in the trip in spirit too mate! So much more to come buddy, PART 2 coming up!
So… my brother and I did two days on Wye. Camped one night. We made tea and coffee on Trangia but ate dinner and breakfast in the pub. Did 30 miles probably less. We were absolutely knackered and my joints ached for nearly a week!!! You did 12 days in an incredibly challenging environment with the added danger of bears on your own! Cooking and camping and doing portage. Absolutely incredible bravery, resilience and determination. I take my hat off to you! You’re probably fed up of me saying this, but I cannot fathom why the quality of your videos don’t get a larger audience. I follow you and a guy called Wiltshire Man and occasionally view Wildbeare and a few others. They would make this epic adventure in to 4 or 5 smaller chunks. Just a suggestion as what I know about RUclips and making videos you could write on a postage stamp. Anyway, tremendous effort and quality video 👍👍👍
Hey Dave!!! Thanks so much for the incredibly kind words and encouragement, I don't take it lightly and it does mean a lot to me, so thank you. I don't tired of hearing that, I am pleased you like the video quality, I'm really trying my best to breakout, hopefully RUclips throws me some kind of bone here lol! RUclips algorithms are tough to predict! As for parts, I simply couldn't break it up into smaller chunks in a good way, and I didn't want to "drip feed" the adventure!
It seems a very strange system indeed! Certainly not a fair one. Well done and as always you are living an amazing life and you have inspired many, including me, to go on canoeing adventures.
Beautifully filmed with a very enjoyable narration. Good fun, lots of information, spooky times, gorgeous scenery, loved every minute of this Eze. Stay safe man to return to that lovely family of yours. Looking forward to the next episode. Every blessing to you from Western Australia.
Hey there Ozzie friend!! Thanks so much for the kind words, that means a lot to me, thanks for the support! So great to hear you liked it all, I'm safe back with the family :-) Hope to see you again in PART 2 - coming up soon!
Interesting adventure, in start of your video I think.. Omg.. T. Cruise .!??🤔🙄😎Amazing nature you show to us , you are free as a bird.! I like similar action , good to see pathway trough this nature. Only one things, but don't be angry, when you fishing , you beat (shaking) the pole too much while pulling the fish towards you, this is reason why they escape , again I say sorry buddy. You have big LIKE from me ok..! Best regards from Alberta - Canada . ✌🍁🌿🤠🍷🌲💕👏
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the tip, not at all, I'm keen to hear tips as I was quite frustrated losing so many fish. So what's the deal, keep the rod more still when reeling it? Like smoother? This is useful thank you!!
Great! Just spotted this. Will watch tomorrow and enjoy it with a cup of tea. Went two days down Wye with my brother; was fantastic. Not quite as big as this 😂…watch tomorrow Cheers mate 👍
I recently discovered a new interest in camping as i never really did it before. I am so happy that i found your videos. They really make me hungry to go out there and discover the world like you are doing. It is really inspiring to watch you do everything so swiftly and easily! I am looking forward to learn more of you and your ways and to watch more of your videos! Best wishes!!
Welcome aboard! That's absolutely awesome. To be honest, I only got seriously into the outdoors about 3-4 years ago, and it has become my absolute passion. It's an amazing hobby, way of life which will bring you so much joy. Wonderful that you've discovered this, you have an amazing journey ahead. Enjoy the ride!
First time seeing your videos and loved it! Jim Bairds channel was what we got me hooked and now everyday I watch a Yukon river video. Keep up the good work
I can tell you really are in your element and revelling in this wild country. You are a good explorer and you can imagine why Europeans who ventured to North America hundreds of years ago decided to stay here.
Dude that was f*****g awesome. Totally mesmerising. I love watching Jim Baird and many others and you are right up there with them brother, a camping trip with those other guys would be awesome to see but to be honest dude seeing your adventures on a solo trip is very satisfying to watch. Thank you for all your hard work and thanks for posting
Great trip Eze awesome videography. I love the beautiful Grayling. We have town here in Michigan named after that fish bc they were once plentiful there. Unfortunately, during the lumber boom they wiped them out 😢. Thanks for letting us tag along. I cant wait to watch the rest of the river travel in the next episode. Cheers
Hey thanks so much, greetings to Michigan! So sad about the grayling, that seems to be the theme of extinction of our planet at the moment 😢. Glad you liked the video and hope to see you in part 2 coming up!
Finally finished part 3. Thanks for letting me see this beautiful country through your lens. I learned today that our DNR has began restocking Grayling in our upper pennisula of Michigan while reading my local news feed.
EPIC that mate! What a start to the adventure, great fishing, beautiful campsites and awesome wildlife. Can't wait to watch the next episode. Man this got me fired up 😁👌🏻👍🏻
YEEEEEEAAAAAAAH. BUDDDDY!!!! FIRE UP FIRE UP!!!! 🔥🔥 Thanks mate, you were there in spirit too bud, I know you would have absolutely LOVED this adventure!!!
The scale of this trip is insane! in a good way...that is some distance to cover!! Truly amazing to be in such a stunning setting and have just no one around...hats off to you doing it solo! I was about to say you had the weather for it till i seen towards the end😂
New to your channel thanks to a YT suggestion. Awesome buddy, loved episode 1. Agree with you regarding Jim Baird, he is very inspiring. Looking forward to the next episode 😊
Glad to have found your channel, brother! You may think you're just sharing fun adventures, but you're providing a genuine service to those of us who can't get out there. Serenity at the click of a button!
Very entertaining. Love your videos. I like that you are also a humble man. You appreciate 🙏 what you are doing and your family. GOOD MAN !!! Thank you for sharing these gifts. They're stunningly beautiful.
Hey Eze, Nice footage 👍 Awesome trip, did it myself in 2011 in september alone and now want to do it again with my 2 sons. Some good memories and food for the soul forever! Keep on exploring.
Aaah thanks for the comment mate, must be awesome to relive it like this, I'm sure you had an amazing trip like I did. So cool to take the kids there!! How old are your sons?
As per mate, one of your finest yet. I also loved your Patagonia trip. I don’t know how you get these trips past your mrs. Lol😂 Great video and happy paddling 🤙🛶
@@EzeAdventurer I was thinking about Jim Baird and zander budnick whilst watching this episode. Two of my favourite canoe/ camping / fishing guys. What other bending branches paddle did you have. Was it the expedition plus.?
@@BurtReynoldstash Thanks mate, yeah two of my favourite dudes to follow as well! Would love to do an adventure with them someday! It was the Explorer Plus! I recommend it over the Expedition Plus, as it's slightly lighter. The difference I think is the guard doesn't go all the way up the neck of the paddle. Over many strokes, I prefer the lightweight option!
nice video! Thanks for sharing. Dont kid yourself. I have lived and worked in Yukon, Northwest Territories Nunavut and continue to paddle long trips everywhere I can and NEVER get used to the mosquitos! LOL! Impressive paddling, look forward to more videos
I’ve never seen someone with your accent look so at home in Moose country. Grayling are such beautiful fish. Congrats on all the epic adventures and thanks for sharing.
Hi eze just got to watching this as been on holiday and felt like I was on another what an incredible journey going to watch part 2 what a beautiful adventure take care and best wishes to you and your family 👍👌❤️
Franz Six seems was part of a German expedition with two friends that lasted many months. Maybe they built they cabin while staying in the area. No wonder looked so professionally built, those guys were no amateurs. This book seems to be related: “Einsames Ziel - Yukon: Mit Hundeschlitten durch die kanadische Wildnis”
So enjoyed this adventure! The narrative, music and scenery was epic. Thank you for taking us along on your Yukon trip. Looking forward to your next trip. --MARLYS
brother your humble and authentic from the little that I have seen from your video, keep it up, great catches on the fishes and your hilarious, safe travels and I am your new subbie.
@@EzeAdventurer I'm really enjoying your work so far, second part of Yukon video was absolutely amazing, and especially when you tried to bathe your canoe 🤣
Back in the late 80's, I paddled a solo trip on the Yukon via canoe from Bennett L. to the Bering sea. Lots of wildlife and great primitive camping with gold rush history (at the end of the trip, I also backpacked the Chilkoot trail from Skagway to Bennett L.) well preserved in the Yukon, Canada portion of the river. Insects and bears were less of a problem when I camped on one of the many islands in the river rather than the river bank.
WOW What an AMAZING experience that must have been!! How long was your canoe trip? 80 days approx? 2000 miles!! And then hiking back!!! What a dream trip, with real time to take it all in... so wonderful congrats. Definitely share that re camping on the islands for some reprieve from the bugs and less potential issues with the bears etc.!
very excited to start this series. Since paddling the entire Mississippi my dreams have been focused on the Yukon. Hopefully your videos can pacify me for the time being!
It's an incredible place. I think you'll get some temporary relief brother, but the bug will probably grow in power by the end of it!! Enjoy, this was by far my favourite adventure of all time!
Good Sir, you have a new subscriber. Extraordinary entertaing videos!! Your efforts in making these films are quite marvellous and i appriciate it alot🥰 Thank you for your outstanding hard work!!!!!!!!!!!! 😃👍💖💖
Another fantastic video, watched it in the bath after a 5 mile paddle on my local canal to get some miles in before a trip to Loch Awe in October. Like you I watch all of Jim's videos, in fact, now watching his latest "heart of the Yukon."
Awesome way to watch that!!! Tag me on instagram and I'll share it next time haha without nudity LOL Yeah watching his series too, he was at the same outfitter as me, just a week after my trip!
Just seen him with Mark outfitting his canoe! What a stunning country. Now thinking of ordering the bigblue solar charger you had ready for my 3 day trip. FYI you inspire people much the same as Jim, picked up some empty cans from the canal today and thought of your approach in your videos!
Awesome adventure young man, your channel is going to explode with trips like this superbly filmed and edited, with great use of music to create atmosphere. Seems Franz Six wrote about his adventures in the Yukon, sadly I can only find German copies of his books.
Thanks so much buddy! Really appreciate it! I do hope this adventure kicks the RUclips algorithm where it needs to be kicked.. hopefully...! Glad you liked the music, that's always a tricky/sensitive area! Yeah wasn't able to find anything in English either!
There must be some really big beavers up there in that part of the country making them dams that force you to portage. Maybe those bears aren't really bears so would the bear spray work on those giant beavers? 😊
Great film so far Eze, I'll come back and watch the rest later. Those fish were absolutely beautiful and you captured some great underwater footage. We were treated to a Bold Eagle in our first camp recently over there. Beautiful majestic bird. Cracking adventure Eze, I feel ya mate with the Mozzies and cramps lol 😆 😜. Like I say' ill be back to watch the rest shortly' . Nice one fella Atb Rick n Billydog
Hey Rickie thanks so much man, such a beautiful land... holy and pure, really one of the best trips of my life by far. Loved every minute of being out there. Hahah that cramp got me soooo good!! Take your time watching mate, happy to hear you're enjoying it !
Really enjoyed that Eze. Such an amazing Adventure (Solo) and you caught some great fish too. looking forward to the next episodes because you are literally living my dream and I get to watch ☺
Which Wenonah canoe are paddling for this trip; the Voyager, the Wilderness...? Was there an option for a clamp-on yoke?🤔 You did a great job making do without a yoke!
Hey buddy thanks, I think I was too excited in the outfitter and didn't realise re the yoke! I was originally going to use a novacraft supernova 14'10 but unfortunately the previous user had completely trashed it, so I took this one. I forgot what it was sorry, will try to look it up. wasn't the wilderness. It was fast in the water and v responsive. I ended up liking it after a couple of days.
I'm really glad to see your channel growing Eze its very well deserved the quality of video's you put out is outstanding this was a fantastic adventure I'm looking forward to watching part two later on today what an amazing place to have an adventure loved it atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Absolutely awesome, I don’t know what your day job is Eze but can you please give it up and make these videos full time , I would like one a week please , Thanks 😊
Haha thanks so much!! Appreciate it, I got 4 kiddos so at the moment don't think RUclips would sustain us (not even close LOL!) but I love doing this and will try to get out there asa much as possible!!!

Hey thanks so much for sharing that info - that's so cool, will look into it!!
Nice travel with you😊
Thanks!
Nice, good job. Haven't been down the big salmon for a while, planning for next August.
Such a beautiful river, you will have an amazing time, enjoy!
Your best video/adventure to date. Great videography.
Thanks so much appreciate the support. Was definitely my favourite adventure EVER!
Is that Dave from Northern Outdoors 😂

brother your humble and authentic from the little that I have seen from your video, keep it up, great catches on the fishes and your hilarious, safe travels and I am your new subbie.
Thank you so much 👍 appreciate it!!
Welcome aboard!!! Thanks for your super kind words !!!
FYI you inspire people much the same as Jim, picked up some empty cans from the canal today and thought of your approach in your videos!
thank you so much that's really kind and good on you for cleaning up!!
Wonderful - thanks for taking this old man with you on such an epic adventure (minus the mosquitos) ;)
It's my pleasure, I'm so happy you're liking it! Def minus the mosquitos hah

Yeaaaah budddyyy
First time watching you but it’s been a pleasure! I will definitely subscribe for more
Thanks so much my friend!
Outstanding film Eze! Looks like the trip of a lifetime. Hi from Scotland 🏴
Thank you so much ! Love Scotland 🏴❤️❤️
This cabin at 45:00 reminds me of Dick Proenneke's cabin on Twin lake. What a find!
YES TOTALLY! What a great read that was, loved it!! Was so stunning. Would have moved in IN A HEARTBEAT!
Nicely done. 1st time viewer from AK, USA. Subscribed.
Woohoo thanks for tuning in, sending much love!
Subscribed. Excellent videos.
Awesome, thank you and welcome aboard, let's see where this crazy ride takes us eh?!!
Thank you once again for a superb adventure my friend. The best video by far. And...the bear would not have stood a chance lol!!
Epic adventure!
Hahah exactly POW POW bear, don't mess with me!! Water flosser in the EYE!
Your videos are getting better and better mate, well done and thanks for taking the time and putting in the effort to make them 🤙
Glad you like them! I appreciate the support, thank you!
There must be some really big beavers up there in that part of the country making them dams that force you to portage. Maybe those bears aren't really bears so would the bear spray work on those giant beavers? 😊
Some MEGA BEAVERS for sure, like from the dinosaur age!
To anyone come across this video-This video shows breathtaking natural scenes full of serenity. its missing in many other canoe trip videos.
Thanks appreciate it!
What a step up, mate! Amazing place, so jealous :) can't wait for the 2nd part. Will go through it tonight.
Gracias Franchussss!!
Beautiful ! Bird at 40 mins is an Osprey
Thanks!!
Nice one fella

@@EzeAdventurer If you have any future trips planned or planning in progress and want some company I’ll 100% join you.
Good chance that bad animal smell was a Sasquatch. Great video.
Definitely. I'll try chasing after the smell next time!
