Kia ora everyone! Tonight you are getting ready for the Aurora Fairy Ball, a grand event that occurs on the darkest night of the year beneath the Aurora lights! A faerie will be helping you to get ready by doing your makeup, styling your hair and being your personal stylist for the celebration!

I recently watched Love Between Fairy And Devil and felt so inspired by the aesthetics of the show, I felt compelled to make something ethereal and dreamy like this! I had a lot of fun pretending to be a fae, it is so healing for my inner child so I hope you enjoy!

What does "Kia ora" mean?
"Kia ora" is a term from Te reo Māori, the language of the indigenous people of Aotearoa (New Zealand). It's a holistic term that can be used in lots of different situations. Translated literally, 'ora' refers to a state of living, or being alive. Adding 'kia' changes "ora" from a noun to a verb ('alive' to 'living'). So when you say kia ora to someone, you are wishing the essence of life upon them! "Kia ora" is commonly used as a greeting in Aotearoa, even though many of us (like me!) are not fluent in Te reo. I use it at the start of every video because it's important to me to share as much of the culture of this wonderful country as I can with you all. "Kia ora" can also be used as a way to say good luck, thank you and best wishes!

I love how sometimes you switch from soft spoken to whispering, that combined with your amazing accent makes it really soothing and relaxing. Also the word "Aurora" is now easily in my top 5 triggers!
