This is one of my favorite movies. I love the message in it. I wish more people knew about. It’s one of those movies that time just kind of left behind. I saw a trailer for it on another movie so I decided to watch it myself because I play golf. I was really spiritually touched by it. Our lives are not determined by a golf score or our failures. When I go and play golf this spring, summer, and winter, I will remember this. And next year I will show this movie if I get to be a small group leader. The only other movie similar that is better known is facing the giants. I wish there were more movies like this in the world
Yes, yes, movies of substance like this one will change the world! For the better.

I enjoyed this movie like no other. Mr. DuvalL plays a great part and believable. I never seen this movie advertised, maybe this is why I enjoyed the message so much

I read this book in two sittings and played my best round the following day. I watched the movie and played almost as well a day later. I love the game. "Seven days in Utopia" made me a much better golfer. God wants us to enjoy ourselves and he wants us to live up to our potential. He created a playground. God is happiest when his children are at play.

Why aren't there more movies like this one? Maybe there will be. Robert Duvall has always been a true favorite of mine.........this only makes him more so. Blessed be.

Loved the movie and the meaning. Now I know why it didn't last long at the box office--too religious of a meaning. And I agree with a lot of other commenters...Hollywood doesn't make this kind of movie anymore. I rented it on Netflix a few months ago and just watched it tonight. Well worth the time!! Liked the special features on the DVD--a lot of interesting comments from the PGA players who appeared in the movie. Saw-Felt-Trusted! A good motto to have...to be continued...

A better question is...did you make the putt? The putt here represents you humble or proud. The cup represents heaven.

This movie reminds me of people God placed in my life that make it what is today and how Greatful I am to God for sending them to me, and for them being Faithful enough to listen and come into my, we hope others will do the same as I've tried to make a difference in the lives of others as well.

I got the message & know it makes no difference if he made it or not..............but did he??? I hate movies that end like this. I spent NY Years Eve watching this......I hate the ending & having to go to a web site that still doesn't tell me..I already am familiar & believe in the point of the movie but feel the movie did not really have an ending. i wanted to be entertained.........

A lot of people are uncomfortable with faith in something that cannot be proven scientifically but at the same time cannot be proven untrue.... it's a personal choice to believe..... I hope you haven't given up hope in faith in a Creator.... people can wear you down.

Oh Satan, this movie was decent then it turned into a church film with a dubious ending. No one knows if he made the damn putt, I'm guessing he didn't and then worked as a ranch hand for the rest of his life.
The year 2023 and 1st time I’ve seen this move for the 1st time I don’t care what they said about the last..did he make it? Make a movie about satanic rituals or mass murderers everyone loves it. Put God in a movie and people complain. Why, look in the mirror and ask why. God loves all of us, why do so many hate God so much that the mention of his existence angers them. I have watched a lot of bad movies I never blamed atheists. I really enjoyed this movie. It should make everyone ask themselves important questions about who they are and who they want to be. Maybe religion is not your answer, what is?
