Years ago before these big chain stores bought each out they had Checkers grocery store they were like piggly wiggly and they had off brand Product and they had kernels, chicken, mix it was like the brand you had it was good and cheap .

I also do his recipe for a "Drunken Turkey"! Also Louisiana Fry products have a great fish fry mix that I use on all my fried fish 🐟!! 🤔🤨🧐😉🥰✌️❤🙏 P.S. I eat my fried chicken 🍗 with Heinz 57 steak sauce! In your words don't judge me, except for I'm semi-country!! 🤣🤣🤣

I always use breads bags from the grocery store to breed my chickens or some other meat to fry, or for some food, I keep all kinds of plastic breads bags , I only use grocery bags for garbage food like bones and whatever table leftovers food who do not go in the composted box...
I use their fish fry breading now I have to try their chicken fry! My mom marinated her chicken in eggs and my grandmother did the salt and water brine. Thanks for the recipe it looks amazing chef.
That's the brand of chicken seasoning mix I use, it does crisp of well and it is seasoned good, I purchased it at BJ's and the large jar last a long time. 👍
This method is excellent for fried pickle chips. I buy vlasic pickles and cut them myself. I like them a tad thicker than hamburger chips. You add cornstarch, about a half cup, to dry mix though, and you cant beat them. Never found a restaurant that makes better fried pickles than mine. But i use buttermilk in my egg, hotsauce mixture. About a cup with 2 eggs and an 8th cup hot sauce. Marinate chocken for 2 hours, pickles meed no marinade time, just dip them in it, then Louisiana wet mix, then dry mix. Most important thing though with pickles is to drain all juice and pat them well with paper towels to get dry, before you do any dipping with them.
I use bags for breading my chicken too lol...paper bags, plastic bags, ziploc bags etc....🥰 I have used Louisiana Chicken Fry before. I used it to oven fry some chicken. Came out really good. I will say that I had to add some regular flour to it bc it is a very very seasoned mix....but I like it and I still have some. I have regular and spicy. In New Orleans, a lot of restaurant cooks make their own, and pass down their versions to family and friends (fun fact) But if you are ever in Nola, a couple of places have great chicken, are Willie Mae Scotch House since 1957, and Dookie Chase since 1941.They have chicken that people will stand over 1 hour in line for. Neyow Creole Cafe is another.
Hello again, Chef. I tried to follow your recipe utilizing chicken wings. Now, I used a flour sifter to remove any lumps from the Louisiana Chicken Fry mix and then I used a plastic/Tupperware style shaker to coat my chicken wings. I deep fried the wings for 12-15 minutes and while the flavor (internally & externally) was awesome, I noted that the wings didn't have much crust to them, like I see in your video. Based on your experience, did I do something wrong?

I have an air fryer, and just purchased an electric skillet which is also good to cook chicken in.
I was wondering if you could use it in a airfryer. Thats the only way I fry foods
