My Samsung s20 was stolen and I have been using an 6 year old fire hd8 until the replacement comes. The loading speed has been driving me nuts. It was taking 30+ seconds to open an app or return to home screen and everything has been super glitchy. I changed the animation settings and it is legitimately 4x faster. You have saved my sanity!😂

I love my Fire for reading but loading up gets on my last nerve - it’s very slow! I just did what you said and will see how this works. Did your Amazon fire tablet come with ads?? I was wondering about buying a iPad on Amazon, and was curious whether or not the iPad comes with ads, similar to the Amazon fire tablet. I have purchased a Amazon tablet before and it came with ads and was absolute garbage (all the ads that were built into the device, which you would have to pay to eliminate.)

I like fire tablets. After you use them long enough, Amazon customer service representative can remove ads off the lock screen for you, if you are kind to them.

You may need to delete de caché partition, turn off tablet. Them press power on and volume up at same time for about five seconds to access
