Four years ago today (7/30/2021), I wrote the following in Facebook. Your perseverance continues to push me lovingly towards Christ.
"I am thinking of Joni Eareckson Tada. Love her writing. Her speaking. She sings too. And draws and paints. Is a wonderful witness for Christ. And 50 years ago today at age 17 she had the diving accident that left her a quadriplegic. Additionally she has battled breast cancer and continues to live in chronic pain. Yet she is determined to live for Christ all the days numbered for her."
Yes, God's kingdom should be filled with the Joshuas & Calebs, brave soldiers & warriors. "For we walk by faith & not by sight." "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

So true. As I walk through my larger than life problems it is great to be reminded I have an infinitely huge GOD.

In Mark chapter 4 Jesus compared the heart to soil. In order to get a larger vegetable garden you have to cultivate more soil. Same with "largeness of heart." Thanks for the wise insight.

Thank you, Joni! This convicted me after a little trial that took place this morning. Praise the Lord for forgiveness in Christ and for Christian sisters and brothers like you who continue to encourage others and offer very gentle (but needed!) rebukes. I am praying for you!
These devotionals are so encouraging! There are many people are broken in spirit though whole physically! Praying to God that no matter my physical condition that my heart is always centered on Him! Hallelujah! He will come back for his children!!!!!
