Joni -- Your take on things is so right on! Without a doubt you are the greatest lemon-ade maker of all time. I wish I had the ability to laugh at my circumstances when they turn sour. But even if I do not, when life deals me a low blow, and I'm feeling sorry for myself, woe is me, etcetera, I think of you. Then I'm ashamed of myself. Do you see the blessing you are? My guess is -- probably not. Thank God! What an awesome Savior He is! "Look on Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth" -- Is. 45:22.
I am one that is grateful that you are remaining 'here' ....yet. Your testimony, your encouragement , your faithfulness in the midst of pain and hard life is such a testimony and you are like one in Hebrews 11...a hero of the faith. THANK YOU !!

This was perfect! My 87 year old mother had a stoke and sometimes she has a pity party and says it's just too hard. I let her have her party and then I remind her that life is good. God isn't ready for her yet. We'll get through it together, with God's help.

THANKYOU JONI for reminding us(me) to be joyful in suffering. I feel foolish b/c I can still use my arms & legs. I'm only 59, but in the last 5 years I've developed some problems that when put all together can bring me down. The hardest is chronic fatigue syndrome, who ever penned that name hit the hammer on the head. I appreciate your courage & faith!😏🧔

Thank you for sharing. I'm just not in that arena to laugh at my future. Truthfully, I don't see much of a future right now. Oh how I pray I'll have a relationship with Jesus like you. I read the KJB and it says in Prov.31 verse 25, strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. A bit different than laughing, but a great verse Joni. Have a blessed day sister from me in the Netherlands
