Oh my...did you just say "let go of the itch to have it your way"? Yes you did! Thank you for the reminder Lord. This life is to magnify You and to surrender my will to Yours. Thank you for providing this reminder on this particular day. May You have YOUR way in me!
Joni, you are such an inspiration to me as you were to my mother; she was in a wheelchair for 17 years before our Lord released her and brought her home which happened to be the last thing she said to her family. She said, “I just want to go home.” I have autoimmune disease(PsA), and your testimony reminds me that as the screws tighten in suffering, the grace is always ratcheted up to meet that tightening. You and Ken are both such blessings to me, and the love and respect that I have for both of you knows no bounds. Thank you for reminding me often that joy and holiness go hand in hand; I just don’t want to dishonor my Savior or cause anyone else to ever doubt God’s goodness because I failed at my trial.
Amen!!! He is Wonderful! Our Holy Master and King Jesus!! May His Kingdom come!!!

Thank you for always being faithfully encouraging.
You are one of the best influences in my life, I've yet to meet. Oh, if never it happens in this life, what a wonderful time we shall have in eternity PAIN FREE together and you walking both with Jesus. I'll want to introduce you to my Gramma and her sisters. They all had terrific loving, giving, nurturing, encouraging hearts just like you.
We will all be great friends sister brides to Christ there.
But for now we are here, even with pain, pain that breathing hurts, the air moving across skin hurts, we sti have work to do. He has us here so obviously our tour of duty is still here.
I'm ok with that. I can still walk, some times better than others, I can still dress myself and do my own hair most days. When I cant, my daughter helps. I tell myself, if Miss Joni can keep on keeping on, so can I. We both serve the same awesome God!
So, while we're still here we just keep doing our daily assignments as He gives tham.
Then one day we will be welcomed Home to our wonderful Groom's awaiting arms. He's been waiting since creation for us, Joni.
He's been building our mansion for a long long time too.
When He walked the earth, when He was murdered on the Cross, no one else on earth knew us, knew we'd ever be born, but He did. He cried, bled, and prayed for us. Then He died forsaken by God The Father for us.
But come Sunday He shook the earth and arose from the dead for us. He defeated Death!!! He erased our sins by taking them onto Himself. Because He loves us.
I love Him, too Joni.
And I love you, my sister Bride.
I could not agree with you more than with every single word you said two months ago and again today! Yes, lovely Joni, it is our joy in our Master which keeps us victorious in perseverance until HE comes to snatch us from this groaning earth! Remember: We will definitely go for a swim together in the purest of 💧! Don’t forget the yellow Swimsuit ! Keep encouraging the saints! It is what is needed most as time draws near!!! The Lord be with your spirit! Grace and warm greetings from 🇨🇭

amen we cant forget about Gods holiness...through christ.
Sickness. Sickness and death. The word "inevitable" as it relates to incurable and untreatable progressive disease. Fully knowing that Jesus Christ could eradicate such diseases from the face of the earth in an instant if it suited God's perfect purposes and pleased Him to do so. But such diseases remain, so I'm left to know that He has plans for good that are not yet readily apparent to us.
Joy, in this mortal life, can be hard to come by under these circumstances even with the confident promises of our salvation.
