THANK YOU! I so badly needed this. Mostly for the opposite reason. Being housebound without any help barring 2x a week, sometimes I get to feeling very isolated. Everyone has days where no matter who they call or contact, no one is answering. Just having one of those days. Been waiting 4 months for more than just one contact from my local church who says they have a ministry for the housebound. One 20 minute face to face contact. That was 2 months ago. Feeling so alone. Then I listened to this and was reminded it is GOD's hand who upholds me. Praise God for His faithfulness!
I was at the Beach today and I thought about how JESUS has the water of the Ocean, that HE Created, in the Hollow of HIS MIGHTY HAND! PRAISE YOU JESUS! THE KING of Kings and the LORD of Lords!!!
Oh praise God! For all of His workings and all that He sustains in this universe, He died with me in mind and is sustaining and upholding even me!

Thank you, Sister Joni, for the reminder that God's powerful, strong hands are being used for the universe and for us as individuals. I'd like to share another verse about how God remembers His people. Isaiah 49: 14-17 in the King James Version: 14) But Zion said, The LORD had forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. 15)Can a woman forget her sucking child, the she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16) Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me". The New American Standard Bible says, "Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; ..."
In some cultures people are intentionally cut in a certain way so that the scar tissue will have a certain look that has meaning to the those people. These Bible verses give me the impression that we mean so much to God that He has carved or inscribed markings about His people, maybe our specific names, into His own hands so that He will always be reminded of us.
