To be clear, the BLi300 battery just drops in though, correct? Husqvarna does not list the 350i in the compatibility chart for the BLi300

Yes, thanks. Good question. The BLi300 is a direct fit. I simply used it because it was already charged and felt I should mention it for the sake of transparency. Keep in mind that Husqvarna's fitment charts are to be taken with a grain of salt. There is an extremely high rate of interchangeability between Husqvarna battery platforms, and the very few outliers are slowly becoming obsolete.

every BLi fits. but not every Bli provides the (Full) Power it needs.

Thanks for the input, Frank. In actual terms all BLi batteries provide the same amount of power in the sense of voltage, which means all batteries will give the same cutting performance. However the lower amp hour batteries will run down sooner so it's always recommended to go with the most energy dense battery you can afford. This is especially crucial for the commercial saw platforms like the T540iXP and the 540iXP due to the higher draw of their motors.@@Frankstar22

At this time in my area the saw kit is $479.99, the bar is $99.99 (cheaper ones are available) and the chain is $32.99. So here in Northern California the current total is $612.97 plus sales tax. Thanks for asking!

whats incredible? How dangerous this is?

I said "incredible" simply because I was impressed with the performance of the saw with the longer bar. The log is old Canyon Live Oak, very hard, and I didn't think the saw would do as well as it did. As for the danger level all I can really say is that the saw is not designed for this bar or chain and therefore unforeseen consequences could ensue. This was really just me goofing around and I would hate for someone to be injured trying to copy my behavior. Thanks for taking the time to check in and have a great day.
