I guess they just don't care, as long as it sells, kind of like "business is business", though they don't care it's a bad business. I just recently spoke to a seller who wanted to sell me Howlite as, wait for it, WHITE TURQUOISE hahaha 😂 at least the stone was genuine lol
This was very different usually jewelry makers aren't very open with tips it's normally as if your asking for the Karby Patty formula. So I appreciate the feedback these tips will be heavily considered next time I buy. I normally buy stones from Rio Grande. Thanks for sharing 🙂
That's true Habibah! The more I appreciate how open these makers are and happy to share their knowledge and personal opinion with us. Their answers helped me a lot already ,and I will be making my future purchases based on them. Thanks for watching! :)
I have asked a couple of businessmen that own their own jewelry business in person and they go silent and I stay silent and look at them like I expect a response and both still said almost nothing!
Finally, I had time to watch the whole video (I love long videos!!). How much experience and source of information!. Where I live, I could ask a jeweler the same thing 20 times and I'll only get almost 1 word. Well, about gems... I haven't wanted to worry much about this matter (it can be overwhelming) but this could be a good start to make things better. So, again 😅, thank you Basia! Great work!
Thank you Faby sooo much! :) Really glad this video was helpful and I agree, sometimes it's really hard to get the info and I'm super grateful for these ladies, who always share with the community, they are amazing
I live just a little less than two hours from the Tucson gem show and last year was my first time going. Super overwhelming but combined with this video and the last one about gem shows I cannot wait to go back next year!!
I'm so happy to hear that Angelica! :D And so jealous!! I wish I'd lived even on the same continent, let alone an hour drive away! 😍 Thank you so much for watching xx
How nice to watch this video. All kinds of informations!!! It was great! Great job! 🌺 If you have more recommendations for stone/ gemstones sellers, please let us know. 😁
I was wondering if it is possible to return gemstone after purchase within 14 days as any other product you buy online or even at the gem shows? Have you ever had this kind of experience? Thank you for sharing such important info from experienced creators! ;-) Personally, I find it very interesting that every jewelry maker has a different perspective when it comes to answering your questions. Great piece of advice about paying via PayPal and being safe with your purchases, especially when you are starting a new business and you count every penny... Can't wait to see the last part of your mini-series, it's worth watching! ;-)
Wow, thank you Eva for this wonderful comment!! Yes, totally agree, all of their answers were super interesting and showed similar or a little different perspective. As for the returns, to be honest I'm not sure! I will do some research and will include that info in the next viedo. Thanks so much for pointing that out! It's definitely a piece of information worth knowing ❤️
Kia ora Basia from New Zealand ❤🌷🌿 It is difficult sourcing quality beads! It's disapointing finding in your package the beads that you ordered are a completely different color to what is shown in pics. Would you share some of your trusted crytstal bead suppliers?
I know that feeling my dear ❤️ I only have one supplier, when I rested them and was happy with the beads, I only ever ordered from them after that. But they are in the UK, would you still like me to share them with you?
Hi guys! Here it is - another part of the series! Today JEWELRY MAKERS will share their tips and experiences with us. How to find sellers? Favourite gem shows? Good/bad experiences when sourcing gems? All that and more! :) Enjoy watching and comment your thoughts! xx
I’ve never understood how people can live with themselves when knowingly selling fake gem stones .... very informative video .
