Hi Hannah, I have a tip to make drilling holes in the wall less messy! Before drilling, you can stick a small post-it note on the wall right under where the hole will be and fold it out so that you have a little ledge. Then you drill the hole. The post-it catches most of the dust and makes cleanup a lot easier! My boyfriend does this and I wanted to share it because it’s an awesome trick. 😊

I really love the idea of setting a vase out with the intention of sometimes filling it with flowers. Or even the idea of sometimes have flowers. It's so poetic. Also I love your vase! It's really fun In my family, vases were something that were brought out of the cupboard in response to flowers arriving. Since I've been on my own, I find the flowers that I appreciate the most are the ones that I have bought for myself, just because. They add so much beauty and texture to spaces.

Your bedroom looks fabulous! I love how Sadie's sparkle puff ball matches the decor of the room! Other than ribbons/strings, my cats will only play with those sparkle puff balls.
Sadie has ALWAYS been obsessed with sparkle balls. She had a tiny blue one that I got at the humane society when I adopted her and it was her favorite toy for years. It's long gone but now she has this gold one and she can't get enough of it!
It's amazing how the colours of everything in the corner didn't change, but somehow after it's been organised and curated it feels cosier and warmer in tone!

If the glossier brow flick is something you love and use often I would suggest trying the nyx brow pen. They have way more shades and imo it's better then the brow flick. Extra bonus it's way cheaper like $9.

I am so happy you found console tables! I was looking for a long and narrow table that could potentially be used as a dining table for two on one side, almost bar style. But for the time being, I wanted it to be used as a mid section to a t-shaped desk shared between my partner and I. it's perfect and multi use! my old vanity is actually a writing desk. the drawers are kind of jank though, but the depth gave me countertop space to add drawers on to , plus a mirror.
it turned out splendidly. keep us up to date on how it is working for you. and changes as they come along. love sharing your design and decor updates. you look happy 😃

Aaaa this was such a fun video! The result was so beautiful it inspired me to clean my own vanity up a bit. I have adhd so I struggle quite severely with executive function and completing tasks. We moved from London to TX 2 years ago with barely anything. I got pretty much all of the solid wood furnishing off of FB Marketplace for very little money. My initial strategy was to get “placeholders” but I got such great pieces I want to keep them forever. We only bought the beds and couches new.
I loved this video. It feels like hanging out with a friend as she decides the perimeters for her space and her things, always an interesting investment of time. It looks great. I think your space is coming together very intentionally, and that’s the best way to be. ♥️

Last year I bought a train case similar to yours and I just don’t use it. I always use what is easily accessed. I recently saw one in Amazon that had pull out drawers. I might purchase and give my sister the stacking one.

I catch the dust with a vacuum placed right underneath but that requires someone else holding it there while you drill.

I got an IKEA desk as my vanity. It was like $200 and has a small drawer and a deep drawer. It’s perfect.
I have a fake orchid on my vanity, and it makes it look so pretty.
