I got to learn a lot from it as my first rig, slapped it onto an AC1 and that was my kit until about three months ago. Works great as a learning tool, and is a good first step into the gear world.
There's actually PALS webbing for mounting other pouches behind the pistol mag pouches if you cut them off/permanently remove them with a seamripper. Odd that it's not information that Helikon widely disseminates. I cut the pistol pouches off, mounted small GPs, and put a Crye Airlite harness knock-off from AliBaba on mine and honestly find it more comfortable and usable than several of my chest rigs that cost twice as much (mine was $87 on sale).
Funny enough i have a fanny pack from them and although its not the typical tactical gear its a fantastic carry pouch with a vertx velcro holster. For The hot south or hiking or chilling in the park where traditional carry isnt easy to conceal or extra uncomfortable its been my best friend
Been running mine for a while. Got my own doohickeys and play things attatched/detatched/reattached. Run an AK and glock. The pistol mag pouches I only use 2 of. Keep a leatherman and a flashlight in the other set. Honestly best bang for buck considering the other options at much higher price points. Good vid man 🤙
Which plate carrier would u recommend to someone who wants to buy once? I watch alot of your videos and u share your thoughts on them but you never recommend one over another or which is your favorite.

You can buy 308. insert trom Helikon-tex separetly to this rig. Thats why there is more room in this midle compartment.

I kind of like that the mag insert is removable. You could replace it with a zip top and use it as a hiking chest rig similar to hill people gear
