Nah that actually is Orthanc. It's just misplaced. My predictions: '23 Rivendell, '24 Barad Dur, '25 Helm's Deep or Mines Tirith, '26 Bag End, '27 Helm's Deep or Mines Tirith. I personally think they should have started with Minas Tirith but who can complain about Rivendell?
Super excited about the new set! They are so many sets left to be made. I hope they continue making them and keeping the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit fans happy!
The other tower on the map could be Minas Morgul but I don't know since Minas Morgul is not only a tower, it has some castle parts to it. The location would match up on the map and I think it could be a great set, with maybe a big brick built Fellbeast and Witch King!
Certainly hope they keep up with the LOTR sets! There are so many more options than what they did. They could make the Forbidden Pool that Gollum fished in with Faramir and some of his men. ( And Frodo of course). They really should make a Fell Beast! A set with some Mûmakil would be really cool. ( With Legolas of course lol ) There are just too many options to stop now!
Rivendell had the entire fellowship + other “good guys” so it would be cool it Barad Dur had Sauron, Mouth of Sauron, Witch King of Angmar and 2 other Nazgul + 5 Mordor Orcs.
Aside from star wars/ batman, Lord of the rings and Indiana jones themed lego sets were always my favorite, I have a good feeling that we will be getting more sets in the future
It’d be also great from marketing perspective. Same as just generic medieval CMF series.. seeing how orcs and falconeers and parts for knights in BAM stations and pick a brick are *permanently sold out* my guess is fans would love them. Anyone want to whisper that to Lego marketing department, so they finally wake up?
The name of Saruman's tower is "Orthanc" not "Orthantic". And yes, the tower on the map IS Orthanc and it's in the wrong place. Because Rivendell also is. Rivendell on that map is in the place where the Shire would be. It's NOT Cirith Ungol. Not only because Cirith Ungol is a passage, not a tower, but the Orc stronghold where Frodo is detained does NOT have horns on the top. Nor is it a recognisable location. They would sooner do Minas Morgul with the Nazgûl. And the place you think Bag End is is Beleriand, where Gondolin is, which we never see in the films. Not until they make one about The Fall of Gondolin. Also...The Rings of Prime was a massive flop because it's absolute garbage. If LEGO Lord of the Rings is dependent on that disgusting bastardisation of Tolkien, then the theme is dead. 'cause the series is TV's most expensive flop and NO ONE would buy LEGO from the series. LEGO has already learned their lesson with DC sets and sets based on M-She-U films like "The Eternals". They don't want to release sets to stay on the shelves. Besides, LEGO's Lord of the Rings license is with Warner. Rings of Prime is from Amazon, which means LEGO would need another license just to do sets based on a colossal flop everyone hates.
Well, I'm not a fan of the rings of power. I just brought it up because it's one of the things going on for the franchise. I hope that all Lord of the Rings we get will be from my favorite movies, I'm pretty sure most feel the same!
@@andreashinske8229not to mention they are some of the most iconic names and words in literature history as the author helped craft the Oxford Dictionary.
I would think they would not want to keep it at just the expensive side of sets to make it more accessible to all fans. I think playsets would not be a bad idea to include.
I hope they will do the same as they did with the Star Wars Theme… they released sets based on the New movies and Series. At the same time they made sets that referred to the first three movies. It was a giant succes for Lego. If they followed the same strategy with Lord of The Rings - I will be poor in a few years - because I will have spend all my money on Lego 😄😄😄
Middle Earth and even all of Arda including Aman and Beleriand have so many options. Lego has to make Minas Tirith (preferably micro scale and UCS), Rohan, Helms Deep, Mordor, Doors of Durin, Mumakil, Ithilien, the Shire (UCS), The Grey Havens (ships and port), Isengard, Fangorn Forest, and so many more!
I think a massive Battle of Pelenor fields collection of sets would be sick, ur with minas tirith, minas morgul, osgiliath, the grond destroying the gate, the battle with the witch king etc
@patrickstadel3224 they did, but there is always room for improvement! Look at the recent Gringotts Bank from Harry Potter it would be cool to have something like that!
Yeah, I'm going to try to improve it. Thanks for watching and being polite about it. I grew up reading the books, and without an expert to tell me how to exactly pronounce everything I say things that I've been saying from a young age its kinda habit. We all have somethings we pronounce differently from others! Have a nice day 🙂!
if they do Minas Tirith, they should do what they did with the Hogwarts Castle set and have tiny recoloured trophy pieces as the characters so it scales better. It'd be strange to have a fully built Minas Tirith like in the picture, then have regular minifigs standing on top of em

I think Rivendell was the perfect start as its where the fellowship begin and Its one of the few locations where the whole fellowship is together
Well whatever comes I'm here for it 👍
Oof, some of the pronounciations- 💀
Yeah :/

I want all of if truth be said.
The other tower is 100% Minas Morgul the tops are the same

Just bought the rivendell set, I wish i was into legos back when there were more lord of the rings sets out
Well, welcome to the Lego community! Hopefully, more Lord of the Rings are on their way!
Orthanc* the way you pronounce Saruman's towers hurts my middle earth soul😂

You don't have to be a fan of The Rings of Power to pronounce it right.

I hope so, its just speculation at this point .
I would pay far too much for a giant Minus Tirith lego set
You aren't the only one!

With luck all of this happens.
For the movie next year, do we find out where Gondor was when the Westfolds fell?
They were out on a day off it all makes sense now!
I know it probably won’t happen, but I would love to have a new wave of lotr sets and not just a icon set.
Same here. I'm just thankful we are getting more!
They better make a huge Minas Tirith. Im talking 7-8k pieces. We all want that we all need that.
I don't think anyone would disagree with you except for the price tag!
Mordor, Mordor, Mordor. It’s MORDOR!
We wants it we needs it!

I want to be able to play all 3 films every second, with my lego sets!!
Orthanc. No tic on the end, just Orthanc
Oh and the C in Cirith Ungol is pronounced like a k
Yeah my bad.
EVERYONE keep buying rivendall if we keep buying it we have a bigger chance of more LOTR sets
Sounds like a plan 👍
I have bought TWO, I have done my part haha
@@Mx199D woo!
Lego won’t sell me more than two, sorry.
@stehlik only have one right now planning on reviewing it soon, will probably get a 2nd one at some point.
Waiting patiently for Lego set 10333 Barad Dur.
As are we all!
This mysterious tower might be the Minas Morgul as well.
You Never Know...
Minas Morgul would be at the 'west' side of the river, though.
If they do make isenguard then they should add a underground segment where the orc forges are.
That would be so cool, plus we need more Ents!
they literally made that, didnt they
@patrickstadel3224 they did, but there is always room for improvement! Look at the recent Gringotts Bank from Harry Potter it would be cool to have something like that!
Lego the Hobbit needs to be reintroduced too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want both!
Looking forward for cirith ungol and barad dûr

Must have Barad-Dur. My preciossss!
