Hoping for an Osgiliath battle set with a few play features that would still look great on display. Maybe even some stuff from the War of the Last Alliance too!
Basically, everything. But definitely Bag End/The Shire, helms deep, Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, Edoras, Lothlorien, the black gate, osgiliath, cirith ungol, bree/the pranxing pony, .... just the basic Stuff really😅
Sauron, Witch King, Mouth of Sauron, Gollum (He was captured by Orcs and taken into the dungeons of Barad-dûr, where Sauron personally tortured him.) Frodo and Sam in their dirty Mordor clothes (+ extra Orc Armor pieces for the scene where they dressed up as Orcs.) Thats 6 figures i would love to see in the Barad Dur set. Maybe add 2 Orcs or 2 other characters idk. I also hope we get more sets in the future inclduing one of the last alliance with Gil Galad, Elrond, Isildur, Elendil and Sauron.
My biggest hope is just that Barad Duo isn't open backed. I want a complete, 360 tower, hopefully around Daily Bugle or Avengers Tower height? I'm getting really greedy here, but a light brick for the eye would be really cool too, if they could somehow make that work. As for smaller sets, I am absolutely on board. Even if it were just one small set ($10-$20), one medium set ($50-$70) and one large set ($100-$120) a year along with the ~$500 sets (which I hope continue for a few years at least) I can only see profits for LEGO. A different Middle Earth battle pack per year would make each year awesome.
Recently saw a 3d minifigure of sauron from martin lego design that looks great with avatar legs. I also made a tall sauron minifigure in the past but with the robot looking: Leg Mechanical, Hero Factory Robot Item No: 15343 legs.

Honestly I would like a few smaller sets. My absolute dream is a warg attack set that either features the actual attack or the orc warg stables

I am ok with lego not putting any minifigures from the black gate into the barad dur set if they bring out a ~300$ Black gate with all of them
