In this 3rd and final installment of the design tutorial series, we recreate the famous duotone effect in Affinity Photo. Spotify has created not only a fantastic music streaming service but they have also carved out for themselves a pretty distinct style of design in their album and playlist covers.

Popularized by their "Duotone Effect" Spotify has done a great job at standing out and creating a consistent style across the board.
Whether you are using a different program than Affinity Photo (perhaps something like photoshop) it doesn't matter because the methods are the same to create Spotify album art.

What are your arguments for using Affinity over the Photoshop ? Is there any besides the personal preference ?

I have no opinion for one over the other. One is less pricey than the other but that may not matter to most people. I like them both and use them both 👍
