Love your playing style! Both basses sound nice, because you play them well. Sire may sound nicer when playing alone for enjoyment, but Sadowsky will cut through a mix and live situation much better due to its more prominent mids. Adding mids via the amp should help the Sire cut through also. From what I can tell in the video: Alone for enjoyment, I choose Sire. In band and live mix, I choose Sadowsky. :)
The Sire sounds amazing-great playing. I had a V7 5 string. A very good bass but heavy at slightly under 11 lbs. I found all the knobs difficult to change tones and preferred the 5 way switch on my Stingray 5. Sadowsky sounds clunky and having Metroline on the headstock instead of Sadowsky is disappointing to me.
hey in future comparisons, do you think it would be possible to adjust the volume for each bass so that they have the same volume relative to the backing track? I think this would be better than leaving the same gain on the mixer so that we can hear how the basses sound different in the context of the mix rather than hearing the difference in their output because I think that is less useful. cheers!
Really nice playing. I’m surprised that the sire sounded smoother. I found the sadowsky harsh. Really nice playing. I could tell you gel better with the sire.
Hi Rama, superb playing ! My concern is about the strings, as i own a 5 Sadowsky Will Lee, awuich is fantastic, and here it doesn't do it justice to this bass, which is a shame..The Sire has a great sound with better strings, i only wished it was the same for the Sadoswky. But don't get me wrong, your videos are great, and i love your groove, too !
Sadowsky is much punchier, more pronounced mids and notes are clearer! Would be a better choice for live performances. It will also cut the mix better. Sounds like different brands of strings on each bass. That will also make a difference in tone.
That V is brand new but yeah kinds has stayed in the store for months I think. Have you tried V10? It has a nice detail with the roasted neck and Sire preamp combo. sometimes Videos couldn't justify the real feel and sound.
@@RamaNatan It looks great for sure! I haven't tried one out but most of the reviews are all excellent. I switched to Sadowskys in 2009 and have been using them ever since. My NYC Sadowsky basses range from 7.2 - 7.8lbs which is a major factor when doing shows 2 hours straight. The Sire may be a great back up bass for my traveling gigs especially from a price point. BTW very tasteful playing and great video!
Yes my friend you know very much, the tone is the must important, the punch of Sadowsky is powerfull, the Sire is a great bass for the price, but not even in dreams
When playing Sadowsky Will Lee bass, volume from backing track setting too low and Sadowsky bass too loud, this cause sound so different from these bass. By the way, so cool playing. Could you remix again?
with the same mixer volume the Will Lee has an overboosted gain so it has to be adjusted but it's not mine so I couldn't do that, it means the Sadowsky has an amazing sound. But well the price will finally adjust for those who concern
I highly agree with you ! I have owned many Fenders even the expensive ones (Ultra, Deluxe) and all of them had construction issues. that's really sad. I rather spend a little bit more and get a sadowsky or any other brand with better quality control ...
@@erasmososa6861 i also own a 2022 Fender Ultra Jazz Bass with rose wood fretboard, the fretboard sucks, it's not curvy like the Sire. THe sire fretboard makes it really easy to play super lightning speed.

Once again. I have to set the record straight. This guy here can really play. Now, let's get the "AIR" cleaned up here. Either this guy works for "SIRE". He's endorsed by Sire or he really "LOVE" a "NEWER" bass at this time. This is the guy, who use the M7 6 string up against another 6 string and "REALLY" gave the "SIRE" M7 a lot of play time, more than he did the other 6 string bass. I recognize the same "PATTERN" here in this video. He puts his "HEART" into playing the "SIRE'S" more than he do other basses. Once again. Dude, you need to show us your skills in the bass that you use. It's actually not what bass you have, it's how well you can play. Real talk. We know "SIRE" is your "FAVORITE". We got that,...but those other basses you choose can really do damage to "SIRE" basses. You know this as well as we know this. I don't think you're being "FAIR" here. You're going to tell me they were recorded on different days. Still, set the best tone on what ever equipment that you use and really find the "SWEET" spot on those particular basses, then do them on the same day. We will, along with you,...hear some true comparison going on. Just want to let you know my opinion , boss. You are a very good bassist. Just treat us fair. Putting Sire in front won't make us buy it. Let the basses speak for themselves,..."HONESTLY". THANK YOU, Coop' Bass "4" Life . : D
My friend, other basses I've reviewed are also amazing, I'm still using some of them till now as my favorite as well, we're just playing in the context, which is to expose what Sire could do actually against big brands :)

The Sadowsky sounds OK, but after the SIRE it sounds horrible ! I think the SIRE is just a better bass, build wise, too. I saw Lobster's review of the Metro and it's a train wreck. It has so many flaws, and he also loves the SIRE, I just remembered, so that's 2 for 2 !
My Sire v10 DX is 10 months old and has already given me some issues. Sweetwater and Sire have delayed in real compensation. These instruments are overpriced for the quality. Never again will I do business with either company.
@@isaifelix4765 That makes me like the Will Lee even less now ! The SIRE is half the price, and "better" in my opinion. My Sire P7 1st gen was $450 and the P10 is not much better, so I'll stick with my Sire.

without a doubt, for me it will be V10🎶👍
V10 is amazing!
great video!! love the V10.
The Sire surprisingly sounded much better! The Sadowsky sounds harsh and a little brittle at times.
Es por la ecualización que tiene el
The V10 sounds a lot like the V5. Nice playing by the way. And the Sire seems more comfortable to play than the Sadowsky, judging by your finger tone.
You’re right! Sadowsky 19 mm and V10 18 I love 18
