One of my favs. Roughly how often are you watering and fertilizing ? I have one and I haven’t had much growth but I might try and layer with pon to see what happens. Did I see a sectoral half moon leaf 😵

Your video had inspired me to do the same for my 5 leaf Hoya Mathilde Splash. I was quite disappointed to see the newest leaf had hardly splash on it at all. So I going to try and follow what you showed us and see how I go 🙂

Hey Kevin, I recently bought myself a mathilde splash cutting because of your videos. Yours makes me so excited to prop my own down the line. It is very splashy in the new vine and I hope to isolate that going forward but I recently noticed her growing her 1st peduncle which im obsessed with as I’ve never grown a peduncle on a hoya yet, OMG its soooo teeny tiny cute. I also love your half n half planter, I love the contrast. I cant wait for mine to look half as good as yours because man alive its stunning 😻

I have high splash Hoya Mathilde that I got back in August of this year and it’s only got like 6 leaves. It’s not grown one bit. I just put it in diy Pon but I think I’m going to prop and re-root. It might have gotten shocked when I got it and needs a reboot! Thanks for the video! I’ve been wanting to see mine get big and bushy! Let us pray 🙏🏻 😂

I tried to find a speci like yours where there’s a lot of splash. I acclimated it then cut it down and put it in pon and started growing well. All the babies have put off new leaves but the variegation isn’t as high as yours/where I want it yet so I’ll be cutting it down soon again! Please wish me luck and hopefully I get as much variegation as your Mathilde! I’m doing this to my Wilbur graves as well. I want all the variegation 😤😤😤

Gorgeous plant, you did an amazing job with it, I really like the second plant like some with high splash and some with less. It gives more diversity, imo😊 but again, they are all Gorgeous 😍
Can you tell me what your pot is from ? And keep propagating 😊😊😊

I really do love your videos. They are so important, plus your personality is fun! I am trying to follow the way you take care of your Hoya, but I have two questions. Have you put all of your Hoya into PON? Even older, well developed Hoya. AND>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> please link the video where you talk about what you feed the hoya. I think I am following your process, but I don't have faith in myself that it is the most current. Thanks for your help. It means a lot. I just received my Hoya Mathilde Splash yesterday. 11 leaves were OFF the plant, UGH. I am so sad!! But your videos give me hope that she will be awesome quickly. I just want to feed it exactly as you do.

The genetics of the plant mean that it has the ability to be variegated. The variation are starches that are stored in the leaves when the plant has an excess. The excess happens with good nutrients and excellent lighting conditions. The variegation in plants is not stable it changes. Lower light conditions, less variegation. Sometimes the leaves will hold the color pattern, but the next leaf will be less patterned. And sometimes a plant will throw out a solid green leaf, meaning it needs to collect more fuel to gain more growth without sacrificing its reserves. Some plants those green leaves will stay green, but some overtime will then begin to store starches, but it can take a long time. That’s why people usually tend to cut solid green parts away. It’s different strokes for different folks, but if you were having a plant that has all white leaves definitely leave them! The plant will put out green parts enough to support the white and the white parts still grow! I have quite a few plants that have changed and are still continuing to grow due to the parts on the plant. So I think people need to do a little more research and not just believe what they hear and watch on Social media.

All you said and showed cutting and propagation but why nothing about Much more important: LIGHT! Humidity! And Air! You used???
I bet if you don’t have proper lighting you couldn’t get that same progress! Unless I missed it.! Ty!
