Just picked up a Queen and a King Anthurium. Putting both in Leca because I have had mixed results with pon. Great to know about the need to flush. Love to see the journey!

You had quite a journey with the queen. You learned a lot about her & now she’s rewarding you. Well done Kevin; thanks for sharing!

These videos are sooooo helpful!! Loving the vlogmas content with the journeys of your plants. You are one of my favorite channels to learn from, you can tell how much time and dedication you put into studying your plants 😍

So much complexity for an elegant plant. I have learned from this. Tomorrow, I will be getting one from Florida. Going to not touch it for a few days for acclimation. My environment is almost same as yours in northern IL.

Another great video. I have such a love, hate, hate relationship with this plant. I love other people's but hate mine. Its such a moody "B" and i just cant figure mine out. Maybe ill start spraying mine and move it to pon to see if anything cha ges. I don’t think its happy in the heat of s fl oddly. Congrats on your success!

I learned the hard way when repotting in Pon to remove the old Pon so the roots will be able to breathe. I a few die from root rot.

As a cannabis grower that uses salts you have to flush. Salts onnmy house plants oo. Once a month they only get water that I PH.

Totally agree with you, plant care is a journey and it took me a while to appreciate they're living organisms and ans not always perfect...

Ecuagenera lists warocqueanum as intermediate warm instead of warm. I think they do enjoy a bit cooler temperatures than most other velvety anthuriums. I feel that giving new import of queen a lot of heat might be the reason why people kill theirs

What do I do if the roots grow into the reservoir? The yellowing edges is happening on a lot of my anthuriums because of that.

Can you show us how you make your top cones for the roots..bc its very interesting and I would like to try it out on my Florida green and especially my philodendron billietiae that I don't want to loose. Thanks Kevin my toronto neighbor.

I have a question about when you said you were feeding it too often and now you only feed it once a month: I was under the impression that when growing in semi-hydro like pon, you always have nutrient solution in the reservoir (similar to LECA). Are you saying that you only keep nutrient solution in the reservoir sometimes and at other times just keep regular water in the reservoir? If so, how long do you leave nutrient solution in the reservoir before switching to plain water?

Great care video, thanks for sharing. Have you ever thinking of chopping your long stem so then you can have a shorter stem with those lovely leaves?
