Not very tall. Maybe 5' 6". Most pro climbers I've meet are short, light and powerful!

I met Dale last time I was in Moab...such a cool guy. He used to work for BD and Five Ten and helped design the Anasazi.

Thanks. Crack is a a different animal for sure but I think every climber should experience it at least once.

Not to knock Dale but, I thought Eddy Joe was the first stone master? Needles Ca. climbing is still the best. If you go there see the original stone masters guide to the Needles at the ponderosa lodge .

I didn't mean he was The original, just apart of the original stone masters.

Really cool, Dale is a great climber.
The art of crack climbing hasn't been lost by any means whatsoever.
BTW jamwalls is cool, but Dave Yerian is a poser, a liar and was always a terribly incompetent climber.
After reading the BS stories about Dave on the jamwalls website, it's perfectly clear that the company has no credibility whatsoever.
The claim,flat-out lie, that Yerian was a pioneer of 5.12 -5.13 cracks in Yosemite is an insult to anyone that's ever climbed there.
