Absolutely JOYOUS, INSPIRING, UPLIFTING AND WONDERFUL. The perfect antidote for depression and the ongoing terrible news.

I used to play Tuba as a teen and we played this tune with a brass Quintett. I really like the intonation of this. Organ and trumpet are building a great symbiosis here with a very natural and hymnic flow. Very well done, thank you for sharing this fine piece of music.

Dieser Trumpet Tune ist doch eigentlich von Jeremiah Clarke (laut Wikipedia über Jeremiah Clarke eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit mit Daniel Purcell, einem Bruder oder Cousin von Henry Purcell). Auf jeden Fall sehr schön gespielt! Danke!

Amazing. I noted the mouthpiece extension. Is that for comfort or to lower the overall pitch to match the organ?

I think that's just the leadpipe to put the piccolo in A rather than B flat. It makes baroque music (often written for trumpet in D) easier since it lets the piccolo trumpet play in the key of F

I wonder if this has ever been used as a wedding processional march

Yes. I was just trying to find out which British Royal couple used it. Not Charles & Diana -- they used the Trumpet Voluntary, not the same.

I used it to walk down the aisle to get married in 1998. It is so important to play with pace, and my organist and trumpeter did so. My mum walked me down the aisle so it was so important we used it again when her coffin entered the church in 2021. Another splendid organist and trumpeter performed for me. I never tire of this version. Phenomenal trumpet playing.
