I sang a tag with the lead at Cleveland this year. I'm fairly new to barbershop and asked him if he was the lead of riptide, to which he laughed and said, "That was a long time ago." They still sound amazing.
@@leilathomas6744My guess: bass. You should hear him talk. Best place to hear him, shop chat. There is an interview with all the members of storm front, and the tenor of lunch break (Shane Scott) asks Jeff how he ended up becoming tenor. 🤗
All these songs are so good. Riptide sounds so good still after all these years.
Can we all just agree that these guys are true champs? Great to hear them again!
One of my absolute favourite quartets 🔥
Tim’s voice is still pure gold wow
So clean and such great technique
Honestly I think they grew into their voices as they grew older

Mike, great job on these videos. The B-blast wouldn't be Blast without you!
I would have loved to be there to see this in person! Great job, Riptide!
Crushing Chords! WOW!
#BringBackRickTaylor!
Man these guys so deserve gold
Jeff's range is incredible
So is he a tenor or bass (my guess is bass)??!!
@@leilathomas6744Both!! He was tenor for 2010 champ quartet Storm Front
@@Ximenna898 I know is he is both. Just wondered what is considered his main vocal part.

What’s stopping them from competing again?
A great lesson to those who think only the young quartets are worth a listen. I love Riptide and their seasoned rich sound.
This is how I like my barbershop!
Gal of mine tag!!! Way to be!
Love this!
This arrangement of Baby Mine is so beautiful. Any idea who did it? I love this whole set. But that song I adore!
Clay Hine arranged it!
