    What a great song and a great performance in an iconic Nashville club. Only been there once but you could feel the history. Caitlin has an amazing voice and writes a damn good song too. And who doesn't love a great pedal steel.

    Nothing beats a beautiful women’s voice, a little acoustic guitar and lapsteel. Straight to the core

    I've only recently come across Caitlin but already she is one of my favourite singer/songwriters, Everything she does is magic. I am so glad that she has so many videos avallable because I could listen to her all day. And besides being a great musician she has such a sweet personality. Love you Caitlin - keep up the good work. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

    As a resident of Wyoming this song surely resonates. There ain't no wind like a
    Wyoming wind!

      I don't know how anybody survives a winter in Wyoming. It's pretty in the summer but brutal in the winter.

    • @maraphernalia
      @maraphernalia 5 лет назад

      @@studdruppo as someone from wyoming, that comment made me laugh. I can handle the winters no problem, it's when summer rolls around and the temperatures start getting to like 85+ that I just hate so much.

      @@dalejkemp I hope so. For people who desire isolation and beauty, I hope there will always be places in Wyoming that people can find that.

    That was fantastic. Caitlin Canty totally organic, beautiful and sings like an Angel with Woody Harrelson riding shotgun, armed with a pedal steel and boy can he play it. Wonderful.

    Grew up with this type music.... it becomes part of you because it already was a part of you and that's why you are listening ... collaboration of Recording King and Gibson is pure history

    Does anyone know the mic she has on the body of her guitar? Thanks.

    • @theviolinfreak1
      @theviolinfreak1 7 лет назад +1

      It's a microphone made by danish company DPA, called D:vote. It's a quite directional condenser mic mainly for amplifying acoustic instruments and you can get it for pretty much every instrument. I own one, good stuff!
      Check out their site for more: www.dpamicrophones.com

    That's a fat guitar with a decent neck size...anyone know what brand it is?

    • @charlesjohnston5315
      @charlesjohnston5315 7 лет назад +1

      Bryan McCarthy: It was made in the mid 1930's by Regal and sold by Montgomery Ward. Recording King was Ward's house brand, and Regal was just one of the manufacturers. Gibson also made a number of Recording Kings, notably the Carson Robison & Ray Whitley models.

    • @charlesjohnston5315
      @charlesjohnston5315 7 лет назад +1

      Bryan McCarthy: You never know. I found a Recording King Carson Robison Jumbo in a local shop earlier this year. Rare model, as Gibson only made it for one year.

    • @AceBaseKingOfSpace
      @AceBaseKingOfSpace 7 лет назад

      can you sell it to me?

    • @charlesjohnston5315
      @charlesjohnston5315 7 лет назад

      Bryan McCarthy: I don't play it much, so I don't mind parting with it. It's not like the guitar in this video. It's shaped like a J-185, and it's ladder braced. There are some examples of them on RUclips.
