      When im making enzymes from left over fruit and vegs it takes at least 1 month.. Flies free in a covered containers. Use the water for cleaning and the remains to fertilize the flowers

    Impressive on multiple levels: one, the stench and grossness you put up with, two, dealing with the fly infestations it causes, three, taking all the time to do this and four, cleaning up whatever horrors are left afterwards.

    I wonder, are those seeds still able to grow after all that? The decomposition of that papaya sure took it's toll on them.

      Hmm.... I still have that dirty plate full of seed just as I left it. Should I cover it with soil and see what's going to happen? I can start it tomorrow.

    The fact that you have to let a papaya grow moldy on the outside to signify that it’s ripe has never appealed to me.

    That got moldy quick.
    Also every time I see the bugs I wonder where you film these. If in your house how do you get the smell and bugs out.

      It's in a separate studio what I use just for time lapses. This way I don't have to live in the smell.

    Now that I think about it, I've never seen, held or tasted a papaya irl...I guess it must be really sweet because of the ways the bugs stormed it almost immediately

      I'm also not a big fan, but truth to be told I ate papaya only on a couple of occasions. It's not common here, and first when I ate papaya, I tried to eat a seed, and damn.. that tastes so bad. Something I remember everytime I see papaya xd

      Ripe papaya is so god dam delicious. The flesh has to be a vibrant orange like really close to bloody orange kinda red.

      Papaya is pretty sweet, you never tried it? Beware of the seeds, they are awful!! The seeds taste so strong that they use them as fake ground pepper

      I started to film this watermelon almost 3 months ago, and it's still looking great. Yes, it doesn't look as vibrant anymore but it's not rotten yet. I will film it until it completely decomposes. It might take some time, but if you want to see how it looks months later just ask in the comments and I can show you photos of it. :)

      These flies have a pretty short lifespan, and they died naturally. I'm not sure what that white powder is
