Hi folks, sorry this video is more action adventure than NERDY but it is what happened so there we go... The next episode will be feature more astro engineering and nerdyness and its dropping in a couple of weeks: ruclips.net/video/ms5gErdFT-o/видео.html
Nothing to be sorry about all good stuff. Cautionary tales in astrophotography probably saved a life.
I'm here for it.
its awesome Nerds are Allowed to adventure too
How long before you realized that you left the parking brake on? =)
👍
I’ve been waiting for astrobiscuit to upload for MONTHS. Missed you Rory and pink bunny 😂
Just told my mom about the pink rabbit... she was confused 😂😂😂
@@achimaufachse5925 no mom im not on drugs😂😂😂
This episode been on Patreon for months 😀
Same 😁
Been rather light over the last few months here in UK,
More so on the North east Scotland where iam,
Summer months are not good for astrophotography,
Unless you do solar photography.
I can rewatch previous episodes only so many times.... haven't found my limit yet. 😁
Haha same
same lol
YES...... the Astronomical Hammond is back... Great stuff. :)
Glad to see you uploading again! Regardless of if you need it now or later, I want you to have this : )
AHH thank you mate. Annoying that there is no Starbucks up here😂Next vid drops in 8 days😁
Not only is this Astro related, but it’s a drama. Was on the edge of my seat. More of this mate! Amazing stuff
Now we know the reason for the break in uploads. He was stuck on a volcano.
I guess I would break my record of rewatching a single video with this one, Astrobiscuit is so entertaining!
It's like Rory is aging backwards, the videos are getting better and better and he's doing more and more adventures, I love it!
The car pulling sport is very healthy!!
Legend has it, he’s still up the volcano on La Palma. Anyway bimmen epic mate. Superb content that always keeps us coming back for more
Biscuit, Please never stop making videos!!!
Re: the car... I feel your pain. I am a regular attender at Kielder Starcamp, and in recent years, after the camp ended, I only made it 8 miles home out of a 160 mile journey and my car crapped out and wouldn't restart. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, 8 miles from the most remote village in England, with no phone signal whatsoever on any network. I had to walk to the nearest house and call for help and It took me 15 hours to get home, on 3 tow trucks in a relay. The things we do for Astro...
This guy's life is going to end with an article that says, "The beloved astronomy buff and RUclipsr better known to his fans as Astrobiscuit died doing what he loved most, being an absolute idiot on video to get a better view with a pretty dodgy telescope he bashed together from parts..."
I hope he doesn't treat his children like he treats his scopes 😂
My family has zero interest in astro so they are safe
This has been the most heroic effort in the name of amateur astronomy I have ever seen, you deserve the greatest respect.
Rory bringing the car back to the rental like " I don't know why the transmission is shifting like that, it was like this before I got it"
🤣
That clutch was taking a beating
Your tanacity is truly amazing I would have given up trying to drive up a mountain side with no barriers in the dark!!!! You’re an inspiration to us all can’t wait for the next episode 👍
Just on another level with the ambition and storytelling. What a cliff hanger, almost literally!
Finallyyyy😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭UR BACKK I MISSED YOU SM , Ur the reason i got so involved into astrophotography and just use whatever tf i have at home and get the best out of it. 🙏🏻
I'm sitting on the astro-imaging field at Astronomy Victoria's dark sky site, waiting for the clouds to part, and a new Astrobiscuit video drops just in time to keep me entertained!
There is more drama in this than an HBO mini series . Love it.😊
I love La Palam, the skies are unbeatable when it comes to astronomy. The best part is getting set up at the top of the mountain while watching the Sunset. Hope you had a good trip and I always look forward to going each year with my students.
Love your videos Rory! The mix of adventure and astrophotography is brilliant.
You are one of the best astrophotographers on this platform, can’t wait for this video :)
Astrobiscuit is so back LESS GOOOO!!!
PS Do not show this video to whoever rented you the car!
One could say i was waiting literally 13.8 billion years for this upload.❤
You must be the craziest astronomer in the universe! Don't stop!
Love it! Can't wait an episode about Orion's Betelgeuse, you know till it's there.
What an absolutely epic adventure mate, incredible stuff!!
Yessss, the Astrobiscuit trainwreck didn't disappoint! ❤
haha, that made me chuckle.
Absolutely wonderful. Action, drama, conflict and the good guy doesn't give up. I can't wait for the sequel.
Been waiting forvever, been watching everything again and again. I said it before and I'll day it again, you should be hosted on a TV programme
i have rewatched every one of your videos multiple times, your inspiring me to do astrophotography and i am starting to improve
Best YT channel related to astronomy! I wait in anticipation for new videos to drop. Top notch content, equivalent to some very good documentaries.

So glad to have you back mate. ❤
Excellent! We have been missing you. Welcome back.
Welcome back guys, looking forward to some new vids.
Great episode! Love your content, looks like it was all worth it ,just for the view alone
Amazing episode dude!
Finally your back 😍 can't wait to see your new videos and adventures with universe ❤
my favourite island in the world, even without a telescope, really lets you understand the universe from almost any point on the island, being up at the top just adds more and more.
Tip for if you ever get stuck again, Get your back to the bonnet and push backwards. Second tip, You should have then bumped it in reverse, selecting reverse and dumping the clutch down that hill. 🤦🏻♂️ good vid as always mate 🇬🇧❤️
What an Astronomy Adventure, thanks for all the effort and the Video! Amazing
As a 33 year old man who’s just recently fallen in love with space, your channel is so wholesome and I can’t get enough of it. My son bought me a telescope that you’ve recommended. Couldn’t be happier. Cheers!
AHH mate it's a slippery slope😂
It’s been so long dude welcome back , can’t wait to see what you show us this time 😍😍😍
Yay!✌️Astrobiscuit [Rory] & Pink Bunny are back folks!👍
Whoaaa! Waiting so long Rory, great to see you are back! 🎉
Welcome back man !!
I can certainly feel your pain ! Same problem happened to me last summer. I went imaging high in the Alps. My car battery died, my jump starter died, there was no cell phone connection… The risks of trying to get the best sky possible. Luckily I was able to hitch hike back to town and call a tow truck.
Well done👍
Wow, now I’m more excited than ever to see how this ends and your results!
Lovely seeing new videos after 8 months !
OMG YES your back
This is just better than any TV shows. I always enjoy your videos.
Good to see you again, and a great fun video 🍪🌠
Yesterday I told my friend about Astrobiscuit and his great work, I am very happy :D
It seems like we Astro nerds are universally aligned and connected, I stopped astrophotography for something after Feb 2024 and now was just getting back to it and rewatching astrobiscuit and wow I'm surprised you upload, man ❤️ from the northern himalayan belt of India, we love clear skies, you're welcome here always
I guess you're right... same for me here ^^
Do you have dodgy hire cars with flat batteries? If so he'll be right there.
Woah found an indian here ,kudos to our love for astro. Where are you from exactly?? Akash
I am another Indian who loves astrophotography.
Brilliant video. Waited a while for this, though.
I love this guy, Rory! I don't like such real life drama occurring in his life but this is very compelling!
Some chap on instagram said Astrobiscuit was the Top Gear of astronomy and now I can't unthink it. The Richard Hammond of deep space is back!
So good to hear from you, old biscuit ! ;)
Amazing as always!
I cannot wait! Your videos are absolutely fantastic!
Chaotic as ever. Love it!
Without seeing the results we know all your efforts/drama will not be in vain! Looks amazing up there 😮
If you’re ever in Hawaii you better come up to Haleakala! Best skies i’ve ever shot in.
Finally, video. This made my day
I was waiting for the pt.2 im so happyyyyy🎉🎉❤❤❤
People with passion change the World. Most call them "crazy" ;)

The main man is back! Missed your uploads, Rory.
I've been there, too. It's amazing. Seen the milky way with the unaided eye like this is just magical!

ruclips.net/video/ms5gErdFT-o/видео.html
@@Astrobiscuit thank you brother
never gets bored with your content
Awesome vid Rory :-)
Missed this, here is some precision engineering that I could drop at any moment 🤣 roll on weekend
broadly speaking, venturing out into the wild, and "setting camp" in a dark remote place, where any nocturnal animal sound can spook me, is what got me into stargazing in the first place. Now 8 years into the hobby, one Mak and three dobs later, i have managed to close my eyes to the charms of astrophotography and keep working visually with my last dob (whoever wants a glimpse of it, it is handmade and i have a time lapse in my channel of setting it up - i think I'm done with aperture fever lol). Many thanks for the Bouzouki track at the end, I'm Greek 😂
YES!! HES BACK
You are onto something revolutionary for the astronomy world. I bet that
YES HE IS BACK 🌔🌌🔭🍪📡
good to see you back buddie 👍🤟
