- Agniveers wear the same uniform and perform the same duties, underlined a top Army officer, adding in some areas they are a shade better, countering the opposition charge that the Centre has created two classes of soldiers.
Launched in 2022, Agnipath scheme provides for short-term induction of personnel into the armed forces with an aim to bring down the age profile of the three services. Those recruited under the scheme are called Agniveers. The short-term service plan (17.5-21 years) in the armed forces had triggered violent protests in several parts of the country.
"I must say that they're undertaking all the actions, operational and other professional duties, just like any of the other sepoys or the recruits on the ground in the unit. And they have been completely integrated and assimilated into the units. They wear the same uniform.

As an agniveer I want to say duty also same but difference here....
1/A permanent soilder leave 90 days and agniveer leave 30 days
2/No allowances for agniveer
3/permanent soilder family has health and canteen facility but agniveer family hasn't canteen and health facility
4/ no promotion
5/After 4 years unemployment there is no job security and they have also carrier tension
When a soldier after 15-20 yrs is not getting job... You hardly can get it. It's just a bluff by the govt and bhakts

अग्नि वीर योजना को समाप्त किया जाना चाहिए और नियमित रूप से आर्मी में भर्ती की जानी चाहिए। सैनिक का सम्मान नियमित रूप से भर्ती होने से और नियमित रूप से पेंशन दिए जाने से होगी। जिससे उसका परिवार भी पल सकता है। चार साल की नौकरी देना मूर्खता है।

If these Agniveers perform the same duties and are expected to embrace all risks involved in the job of defending the nation, should they not be treated at par with the regular soldiers?
For profit oriented corporations, human biengs are a "resource" that has be exploited for maximizing profits. That is the reason why the employees are not really loyal to their employers, and change jobs where they find better remuneration. Low employee engagement leads to high attrition and turnover, which is not good for the Corporation.
How does low employee engagement & high turnover benefit the armed forces, except that it saves on Pension bills?

same duty, paid less,no respect from the civilians and inside the armforces because they are not permanent and after 4 years of gadha majdoori they would out there in the job market to compete with the common folks.
