"Sexuality quotas" is a fantastic phrase and I'm gonna start using it. I agree; I'm gay and it's hard to put into words just how important representation is. But when it's insincere it almost feels worse than not having it at all. Like, you're not interested in representing me and normalizing queer people to mass audiences, you're a conglomerate looking for progress points because you were socially strongarmed into it. Film Maeve is the perfect example of insincere representation and regular Maeve is the perfect example of a well-written, fleshed out queer character. I love how this show was able to just HAVE a fantastic queer character while also using her to call out the insincerity of forced representation.=
The one thing that always confused me was that the marketing guys were trying to make Elena the 'masculine' one when Maeve is literally a warrior woman.
HI Holden! I have been watching your videos literally from the start of my friend watches. So fun to see that it's only going forward from that! Took this from Wikipiedia, but that's pretty much what I would say. Say hi to Jen from me! Wish you all well. Have a great one!
I wonder why you are constantly asking about Black Noirs Powers. You saw him taking out Kimiko without much problems indicating superhuman speed and strength, surviving the explosion of the nuclear terrorist without an blink, and hear saying MM that he can outrun a car. Besides, he moves completely silent. That´s a pretty nice catalogue of powers.
Love that you are watching this show. Nothing to do with this genre but you need to get Jen to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. I can only get the feeling of watching it first time vicariously through other people now and feel like Jen would love it.

I think you guys were talking over the part when they were making the movie and Homelander mentioned the "Joss rewrites" referring to Joss Whedon writing the movie just like Thr Justice League.
I think Homelander started to fall in love with Stormfront when he realized that he could let loose with her. Think back on the one sex scene we saw between him and Stillwell. But with Stormfront, she welcomes him really letting go and touching all he wants and with all his strength.
