Holy Trinity explain 3 Gods in one Dont say its a mystery. Its impossible to justify. One Lord only one Lord. Christ was a person flesh and blood not a God

Important distinction between us seeing our goal as Orthodox Christians being only to be "good" or looking at our "goodness" as in moral and societal order - from the fact that Christ came to make us holy unto deification.

I'm a catechumen currently and really getting some solid pastoral counsel through this channel and others has been an absolute blessing, I've been struggling internally very much lately and falling back into previous ways of living. Maybe this is simply the wine being turned over and showing what's really beneath the surface! May the Lord bless you Fr. I learned that we must follow love and guarding the senses, this refers to when we pray to the Lord for everything we did not see and could see, everything we did not hear and could hear. because sometimes we oppose love, i.e. God, maybe when we are lazy or say I'll do it later, this refers to cutting your will, when maybe someone bothers us, needing something from us, when we offer more than as much as we can offer, we offer it to God. Thank you, parents, and thank God for everything. Amen 🙏

I learn one think ,when we choose God he is with us,he teach us ,when something is not good he can distract us with a phone or someone who move next to us ,when something is good he can smile true someone,or love us from a child ,when we upset God he can be upset from the deep of a cat who is upset ,he put our atention on a think that can make us pay atention .this is when He want for us to learn something ,he is in our heart but maybe he hide because are we ready for him? Or maybe is not the right moment ,just the best is to trust and be careful with what he teach us .,🙏💗💖Is just a feeling only God know everything,but he is in our heart the same as a mother who died and i still feal her teachings .Amen🙏

and Revelation 5 v10 read this verse.And you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it, and many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 18:25 good point, many seek to enter and are not able. It's not enough to seek but to understand the way we enter into the kingdom of Christ. Not just have a desire to enter but also learn how to enter. Definitely need to make this a supporting goal to the over arching priority of seeking the kingdom. 2 Tim. 2:5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. We need to learn how to stive lawfully which results in being crowned. The Holy Fathers use this verse quite a bit.

That verse isn't about us doing violence to earn the Kingdom of God. It's about John the Baptist and the violence he would suffer.
I have never met an orthodox christian that lives the kingdom of God.
Where do you live? How many have you met? Have you been to a monastery?
48:30 others will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven before us!

It is so because we are struggling as humans, without divine grace. If, however, we empty ourselves He will fill us. We must focus on our sins, our weakness, and in this emptiness then cry out with desperation and longing and love, as one perishing, and as the blind men and all the “beggars” in the Gospel.

Yes, seem difficult when you try by your own strength.
I came in ignorantly and was amazed how many sneaked in dishonestly and was astonished.
I was seeking home as young as 3yrs old. Nothing made since and the sweet world that claimed themselves good.... I did not see much results.
I came in as a doubter, saying prove it.
God came ever so sweetly and said here I Am in many forms of sweetness and laughter at my foolishness.
I made a commitment early in life for myself to hate liars and walk away from things which have no evidence but claims judgement on the innocent as guilty because they did kindness to a person they think unprofitable.
Who is unprofitable? I've lost many friends who call me miss perfect or worthless. I see myself as content and not lacking. Maybe this is jealousy or indifference... but it is evil.
My mother always said I will endanger myself if I continue to speak honestly. She is right but I would endanger much more and myself if I do not walk rightly after those thing I was given from heaven.
This to me is to have the fear of the Lord because I have never feared God. I can only love and appreciate what He has completed me in without effort.
Seek truth and you will find God who waits for all to seek after things this evil world is trying to wipe out.
Speak to the Lord daily. It may take a day or 20yrs, but God isn't hiding... we are. 🕊.... 💞

Where does it say in the bible christ is the kingdom of God? I am struggling to find it in the bible??
Or if your believers are bible students if you cant find it perhaps they can. Do you understand the statement Christ is the kingdom of God? I am struggling with that too
Christ says the kingdom of God is within you. What happened on Pentecost? The kingdom of God came and dwelt within them. What came and dwelt with them? The Holy Spirit of Christ. What does the apostle Paul say? It is not I but Christ who lives in me. This is the kingdom of God. By kingdom we should not understand an external empire or reign but the internal, spiritual reign or rule of Christ, the kingdom of God, for “reign” is the much preferred translation of the Greek term βασιλεια
No the bible states that the kingdom of God will be on earth as the Lords prayer states. The law the glory of God will go forth from Zion and the kingdoms of this world will be destroyed. Zion is the place we know as Jerusalem. If this is not understood then go back into the old testament and read the prophecies and why they speak of a future kingdom to come and the order it will happen. The prophet Zecheriah is very clear to me. The Holy spirit was given to disciples apostles to help them bring the truth to the people jews gentiles. It was the word of God that was with in them not a kingdom. You need to understand what that kingdom is. And as yourself what is the purpose of christ return back to this earth. The only reason is to establish Gods kingdom his fathers Kingdom
Of course it will be on this earth, but not as the Jews expected - politically, externally, for this is the ancient heresy of chiliasm which expected a 1000 year reign on this earth, with Christ ruling a kingdom. This is a pathetic and tragic and fleshly vision of what Christ offered and offers and a grave trap of the enemy.
Right from the very beginning God said he has a purpose with the Jews and if that is his promise that will be fulfilled. But God's promises was also extended to the gentiles..think of Cornelius he had to repent Peter taught him the good news of the gospel of salvation. You make a big mistake if you think God has finished with the Jews. Read Jeremiah 31 and 32. I also ask explain the Lords prayer about the Lords prayer and read it in its context.. Time time again the prophet tell us of God's purpose a kingdom to be established. Think of Daniels image explain that and its links with Revelation
Get out our Bible and read in the 4 gospels what is the Kingdom of God.
Parables are ment to invite you to seek after those thing yourself while speaking to the only one who will convince you. You will always doubt if it comes form a person. This is why those who fid the kingdom cannot be moved back to the world of death with lying lips with good things.
~ I am in you and you are in me.
~ The kingdom of God is not of this world but in this world.

The Kingdom of heaven was at hand when Jesus christ was here. The Kingdom is open for all who desire to enter after Pentecost.
