The advantage of the Foxeer Aura frame is in its minimalist design, which makes it lighter weight, easier to build, and presumably easier to repair. On the other hand, the iFlight Chimera 7 packs some pretty impressive innovations, but of course all that bling comes at the cost of weight: it outweighs the Foxeer Aura by some 54g.

Super interesting to see such a light frame for LR ! Really something to consider as an alternative for me!

Nice review bro, how about if i use motor 2207 1800kv on this foxeer aura 7inc ? Without gopro because i use dji O3

Hey there, thanks for watching. Those motors are too small, I'm using emac eco II 2807 1300kv and they feel great. 2207 wouldn't have enough torque for 7 inch prop. That kv would be good for 4s, too high for 6s I think. Check out the Emax Eco they are pretty good and cheap!

.. ok got to that part. So it has more room for battery.. my rekon only fits 5.4" max. I turned 21700 pack sideways, and a prop ended up hitting it haha
(ignore i edited cause i got to this part haha.. Can aura 7/8" fit the 6s2p 8000mah flight packs? Rekon7 doesnt.)

Hey, thanks for watching! I love the looks of the Rekon quads, I almost bought one but I ended up building instead... I am sorry to say that this quad is resting at an undisclosed location in the forest... I had a battery fail 2km out and wasn't logging GPS into my radio and never did find it, even after looking for a full day 😭 Dumb, I know. Now I log GPS coordinates on screen and in my sd card! So I can't say for sure, but at 8:55 I measure the battery space if it helps!

@colibrifpv yeah I saw. I'm just impatient was worrying before I got to that spot in the video 😆 🤣.. damn sorry to hear you lost the quad. I built my rekon5 before rekon5 existed. But the rekon7 I bought and modified. It's an 8" drone now. It has down a long time averaging 25mph covering 30km.

Hello there, thanks for your comment. Well, if you are a beginner I do not recommend starting with one of these frames, they have to be built and require a lot of prior knowledge, Perhaps you might start off with a BNF and learn the FPV basics, and then move up? Let me know what you are interested in and I will make a recommendation!
