I loved the fall down video but I didn't properly appreciate how much work went into this project until I watched this video. Thanks for sharing this story with us, Lily. All the kudos to you and your team.
Congrats to Lily and the whole team! Incredible build with so many elements that looked beautiful as they toppled. Appreciate all the behind-the-build details (and drama). Everyone loves seeing the actual topple, but these glimpses into 'the process' are the most fascinating part to me.
So many favourite parts! The spiral was incredible and had a rhythm to it, the kapla towers falling in a spiral, the elevated sections where the dominoes fell onto the floor (so satisfying lol), the subway map (I love public transit), the sonimod, the group of four coloured towers that fell perfectly simultaneously... There were a few times where I thought, ok this must be the end and it just kept going!!! That was my favourite 🤗 congrats again!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Edit: oh and the flower, the Fibonacci, and the triangles!
That was so much fun to watch, I always like the behind the scenes of an event just as much, if not more than the falldown. Also the part where Wim and Marco had to build with the American style was pretty funny lol
Watching the time lapse, it was interesting to see you didn't build from the top down, it seemed very random how you built the various parts although I'm assuming there was a reason behind it During the Pandemic I developed an interest in Metro systems around the world - last year I visited Vienna with the specific purpose of visiting every U Bahn station in a day - so seeing the DC Metro map was pretty cool
yeah honestly the building order was super random - we just built the projects that were more straightforward and had some rough plans/ideas first. that’s awesome!!
the board that was holding the dominoes up collapsed too early, likely due to too much weight pressing on the soft floor and the board not leaning back enough on an angle
what was your favorite part of the setup? 😊
pls notice me I’ve been watching u for 5 years pls pls pls
It was the big spiral, of course!
The entire thing was our favorite!
The main spiral with the fire and ice combos!
The colossal spiral of course!! It's literally the title of the settup!
i love when the lines diverge and lead to simultaneous collapse of multiple structures, shows mastery of timing.

my favorite art of the setup was the colossal spiral because I really love the combo of fire and ice in the spiral.
