Hi, I am planning to do the same thing🙂i have only 3400km for front brakes left says the BMW Computer🙂but i have some questions for example: is there only one brake sensor per axle or more?I have read it somewhere that the original brake parts are the ATE brand, but they are really expensive, so what is your experience with the Bosch parts so far? I am living in Austria, and so far i always order the parts from Autodoc.. Best regards Denis
Hi Denis, yes, there is only one sensor at the front and one at the rear. I bought bosch parts and I was very satisfied. I also buy from AUTODOC and the parts are of good quality and they have a fast delivery

Hi, You should change the pads when you change the discks. If the será sensor os good, you don't need to change it. You can buy the wear sensor from another brand.
Did u ever have any issues on the brake sensor? Did u replace them? My brake pad light came on and ive always reset but now it doesnt reset successfully. The pads are still good u think its the sensor? I know its ine sensor for front and one for rear
One time i did have a problem with one new sensor. verify the sensor connection plug or if you have the cable crush. In my car i use bosch sensor and never had problems.
@@fernandomontenegroBMW thank u for reply yeah i ended up checking the driver side wheel i turned it all the way right checked plug and it seemed to have been dislocated/dettached from the cable holder i latched it back and reset worked after 😁. Idk how just been unattached it couldn't reset? Probably sensor really sensitive?

Ho messo la pasta di rame per la prossima riparazione i dischi non sono bloccati. aiuta anche che la ruota non si blocca. Ho scelto bosch per opzione personale. ma se scegli brembo ti consiglio di mettere le pastiglie dei freni della stessa marca.

Muy buen video, solo te apunyo un par de cosas, la primera muy importante, te has olvidado dr limpiar los discos de freno, hay que desengrasarlos ya que traen una capa de aceite y es peligroso no hacerlo, y lo segundo que para la proxima vez te remomiendo echar grasa en el perno guia y en las guias de las pastillas, asi evitas que se atasquen y que el cilindro retroceda mas facilmente, un saludo, sigue asi.
Me gustan mucho los vídeos,el problema es que el inglés no lo entiendo,es una faena no poder entender nada,no habría posibilidad de traducirlo al Español???
Hola. Lo entiendo que en español es mejor para usted. Pero en ingles es universal. Lo que escribo es cosas muy simples. Podes cambiar en google. Pero se necessitas de ayuda en algo en especifico dime. Saludos
No veo pares de apriete y la zona donde levanta el vehículo no es la recomendada por el fabricante,la zona es donde está situada la borriqueta,hacer vídeos con poca rigurosidad,es muy fácil.

I notice you have jacked up the car behind the jacking point . Is this safe enough and won't it damage any of the floor or components underneath ?
No problem, nor will it damage anything. it's safe but you have to use the security brackets
Do you have disengage the electronic parking brake to do this. ome people say it is impossible to change the brakes without doing this first
I did exactly as in the video. there was no need to unlock the handbrake or put it in neutral

How many kms did those disks last?
About 100.000 kms, what's in the odometer?
Seems that they are quite small and wear out kickly

you need to replace all the wheel braking system.
and you'd better have at least 18" rims to clear the brakes
