    The cellist is Tina Guo who is fantastic! A very versatile artist. You can find her playing anything from Bach in a ballgown to wearing leather playing Metal.

    Going to a viking concert with Eivør, Einar Selvik and The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, this month. I got to experience them in a concert hall, that cost 1.4 billion DKK, ($207,036,275) or 250% more than originally budgeted 😂

    I have met Einar numerous times upon the years, more than I can count. Both before and after him getting the fame from Wardruna. He have allways been super polite and loves to talk to fans of Wardruna and from his Black Metal era. He is the folk and historic version of Lemmy.

    I saw Wardruna the first time at Red Rocks amphitheater, and it was EPIC. His voice is transcendent, and I love his solo songs (like Voluspa). Check out his performance at the 2020 Bergen International Festival.

    I think you should take a look at Wardruna and Aurora singing «Helvegen» live in Bergen ruclips.net/video/FnkTuHP9q3o/видео.html
    This is real Viking-music, and is about crossing over to the afterlife called Hel (not Hell). You can use the subtitle, but it’s not necessary -your soul will understand😉 I think you will love it!

    Einar is a brilliant vocalist and composedf/performed a lot of the traditional music of Vikings, which is why the footage was playing in the background. The other song you reacted to, Helvegan, is played during a key character's death and repeated throughout the series. He was also a featured extra in a scene, which is pretty cool.

    Einar is in the band Wardruna......the orchestra, especially the strings, are fantastic.......luv the tagelharpa intro....this must have been a task to score and perform.........is there a hint of the "Carmina Burana" in there ?

    There is a translation for the beginning part of the suite, not sure about the rest. It's from Voluspá:
    Bræðr munu berjask ok at bönum verðask,
    munu systrungar sifjum spilla;
    Skelfr Yggdrasils askr standandi,
    ymr it aldna tré, en jötunn losnar.
    Translation:
    Brothers will fight and kill each other,
    cousins (sisters' sons) will betray their kinship;
    Standing, Yggdrasil's ash shakes,
    the ancient tree groans, a giant becomes loose.
