First of all. The vulture is freaking amazing. These things are easier to get perfect tame than a dimorph, And they have the same base damage. Also, people need to learn to read. The dossier clearly says “INCREASES” The spoil timer. Having a mobile preserving bin of mutton that lasts four times longer than it would in your inventory is amazing.
4x longer is normal for Dino inventory, the vulture has Way more, it's like a fridge (mutton/prime spoils in 1h+) only down side is that the vulture has to harvest it itself so you can't put meat in them.
Jerboas got buffed real damn good with the addition of no longer being locked to lvl 1. In particular, the little dudes have REALLY good weight gain compared to not just other shoulder pets, but to some lower tier mounts like raptors and pteras. As of now, they're the best shoulder pet for use as a backpack 'till Sinomacrops returns.
@@SoonerJay Yeah but, by the time you have Phoenix, you would have Industrial Cooker or Forge already, the only other use Phoenix have is pooping pearls
Do they still have that single player glitch where they can't listen to whistles? I remember bringing my legion of vultures over to Iceworm cave only to realize they wouldn't attack back until they got hit..... they survived around two worms before they all died.
@@mudda1788 Yeah, I was too retarded to do that unfortunately. I also brought the basic shotgun to the cave because I didn't know the difference between it and the pump-action. Truly a shameful run.
Vulture is literally just desert version of Dimorphodon, as it can also directly hit riders from their dinos, also Vulture itself drops spoiled meat, it may be useless tame, but can be useful as spoiled meat source
The Jerboa can apparently detect Aberration's earthquakes and Extinction's meteor showers. Also, so sorry that you had to make the video twice; I feel your pain, man.
Corrections: I dont like the Moth at all myself, but it's poison cloud slows enemies, not stuns enemies and it's useful in that sense, to get away. Typically I start with 1 of these only to get a couple of crystal for my spyglass and then ignore it. Phoenix also has a chance to poop out Black pearls too. Morellatops also gains water when harvesting from cacti and cactus trees. Dont need to go directly to a water source.
Back on ase official i had 8 150 tamed vultures in my base and they kept if from being raided multiple nights before I got turrets up. I accidentally built on a spawn zone so other players were spawning in my base and then would get killed by my many vultures lol
pvp ranking the vulture is the best should mount it damages through armor so you can use this on aggressive with an argy or pt to pick and kill alot of players with melee vultures
Indeed is even a low lvl vulture can easily destroy your good armor so it’s a good pvp shoulder mount but when tamed its damage to armor is halved or 25% decreased
Scorched has some pretty bad creatures tbh, Vulture and Jerboa are just not good compared to other shoulder mounts, Morellatops is one of if not the best early game tame but it falls off very quickly mid and late game, thorny dragon is just useless since u can just use chainsaws or the mantis, Lymantria literally can’t deal any damage, Phoenix is hard to get but its worst part is that its not breedable meaning it can’t get any amazing stats, imprint or mutations, the Fasolasuchus is just a worse Rex with better mobility and good flint harvesting abilities, Rock Golem serves no purpose in pve, can’t beat Giga’s or Carchar’s, isn’t breedable, annoying taming method, the Oasisaur can’t do any damage even though its Titanosaur sized and even though its the same size as the Titanosaur it has 1/10th of its health, Mantis is one of the best ones but its still worse at each resource it can gather than the ones who specialize it like Anky, Doed, etc, its annoying to tame and it being an insect means Megatheriums are scary ash, Wyverns are one of the only good creatures on Scorsched but even though its by far the best it still has garbage ai (especially when landing) and refuses to turn, it also has no saddle so it’s very squishy and while the variants seem nice it does mean u need to breed every individual variant for 1 different attack
@@Etsman9000 getting passive resources (you get way more by just harvesting them) reviving creatures (even though breeding is just better) being a mobile base (fair enough but with other maps you also have desert titan and quetzal and even on scorched you also have Titanosaur and Paracer) outside of that it’s only for growing plants but I don’t think an oversized Greenhouse is worth the annoying feeding method and the space it takes up in the base
the phoenix had become my upmost favorite personal transport as a result of not needing to land to regain stamina, along with its ability to land in ASA. It's not as fast as a Wyvern, sure, but Wyverns are personally incredibly annoying to land and near impossible to land properly if on a server with speed boosts enabled. It had become my favorite thing to travel with in ASE as long as I don't have much on me because I can simply avoid danger entirely.
What, vultures are really good, it's like a fridge for meat which is insane for gathering prime meat and taming with it also it can kill the freaking manticore... Let that sink for a moment. And if 5 are behind you, you allways run or they will kill you of your mount. One of the most overlooked SE creatures and more laptops and the moth are useless
Totally agree. I usually tame a vulture first before I tame a dimorphidon, because you can have mutton on you ready to go, while you track down a high level.

The phoenix also can harvest metal and smelt it faster than a normal refining forge, and it can cook meat in its inventory
Outside being fastest tame on map, that's all it's helpful for
But why do that if you have Industrial Forge or Industrial Cooker
@@TheXAllosaurus not saying it makes those things obsolete, but they are important abilities that should be mentioned

A flock of high level, imprinted Vultures are completely devastating.
You can shred through anything on the Scorched Earth map with them.

It's a shame people don't understand how much of a GOAT the Phoenix is. Only downside it has is not being breedable
Yeah like, it is a fast flyer, and it is basically flying anky, can be healed by fire wyverns
Faso deserves to be higher like on place 3 they are absolutely insane with farming flint
The Stamina is horrible tho
Having a community voted creature with the size of a Rex and one of the most annoying taming methods ever only be useful for flint gathering is crazy

Lymantria has one use only. Getting a Wyvern egg quickly. Raise Wyvern egg to get better one. Abundant and easy tame for a disposable duty.
Don’t let bro cook
I got a question, can gigas and carchars spawn in scorched earth?
No they can’t
Best shit about Vultures is early game spoiled meat farming by killing alot of them so I definitely agree it being last
