Also the gasbag is going to go so unbelievably hard in ASA, can you imagine how much metal a gasbag will be able to carry if you can get one with the mineral harvesting gene?
Basilisk is in my experience the most underated creature just because everyone ive asked says they never tame it or dont see the need to. The weight, hidden movement & abilities are fantastic. It can knock out creatures, carry all of your resources, and protect you from dinos & players by burrowing. The stats overall are busted as well. Add to all that that they are easy to tame, especially on fjordur
the Basilisk is really underated for knocking out dinos that have alot of health, a decently leveled basalisk could knock out a max level rex in like 6 hits
The only problem with the iguanodon is that you unlock the saddle at level 30. If you do a note run right at the start of the game that's no problem, but I don't like skipping the early game, so for me the iguanodon is out of reach at the point where I want to tame it but other stronger creatures are available when I'm allowed to ride it
Everyone always forgot to talk about the Megaloceros bleeding on humans, 20% of the total health over 30 seconds and disables the healing from consumables, just insane
The pelogornis doesn't get enough respect. It's essentially the same as the pterodactyl except it has water capabilities and a great way of farming fish meat.
I’ve tried to find it in so many places man but I’m wondering on how to access the menu on the right to see the keys for new creature abilities. Looking for pc. Someone help😭

The Diplocalus can also 1 shot trillobites making them decent for black pearl farming.

Ive also defending my cave base with one for a 5 hour standoff, the gas ability scares people off in cramped spaces

iguannodon is slower before u tame it but when u tame it its faster than raptor

You should do a top 10 creatures that should be overhauled in Ark 2 it would be really interesting to see the community's feedback to that list
Iguanodons are just better horses. Saddle should be at a lower level tho
iguanadons seem like early spino with the whole stance change thing
