Yes, Savage acro has a damage cap of 2500. So you wouyldnt want to do more than 2500 per attack and instead would want to attack fast. Brachis wouldnt be very good as they attack too slowly. From personal experience, a lightning wyvern army with high health pools are very good at dealing damage (if you get the lightning breath to do a lot of damage per tic) but since they cannot have a saddle, its best to run away when the savage acro is enraged which is easier than it seems since the savage acro's roar only shoots in a straight line.

So dinos have been placed taxonomically in a grouping of reptiles. Specifically the "avian" reptiles or at thebvery least as a part ofbthe "archeosaurs." Its been largely accepted that many dinosaur carnivores likely had feathers. However, whether or not the plant eaters did isnt super certain. We DO know the had four chambered hearts and their size may at the very least have kept their body temperatures more constant. This MIGHT have made feathers useful as it would keep them at least some between hot and cold blooded. It really just depends if feathers evolved super early in dinosaur evolution BEFORE certain dinosaur evolutions occured or after. So...would they have fur? No. Feathers? Maybe? Safe bet on the most bird like dinos.
I love that paintjob on the Broncy, but that dark purple with a yellow/golden stripes would look fantastic as like a RP king/emperor mount, just a massive "regal" creature

To answer your question with the acro, the brachis can work and they will do quite a decent amount to the savage acro, though they are not the most efficient option for that fight and you'll lose a lot of them during the fight What I mean by losing them is that it will be nearly impossible to get them out and away from the savage's dangerous attacks
the animation and sound of this mod still blow my mind, the brachi actually feels like it has weight in the world and the sound on that stomp is insane,
